I remember the shark tooth mod! I ran it for a couple years. I love my Sanai bumper but miss the OEM poly over the fiberglass.

Hey Fritz, want to sell me the 99 front end off of the BB FD you bought in cali? I missed buying that car by minutes!!! Argh!!!

Even though I've done a ton of work the past couple of days, I've fallen back to my old ways and haven't taken any pics. Failure!

Here is what has been installed:

99 front end
99 spoiler
Shine carbon ducktail spoiler
LRB license plate (will be powdercoating this in the next few months along with some other parts
LRB undertray
HWL headlights
New OEM fender liners
AutoExe carbon intake

I also reupholstered the Spirit R seats with material from ESH

Tomorrow I plan to get the Spirit R cluster in a wired up, the FEED carbon side skirts on and possibly the Leg Sport carbon rear pieces on. I have the sides and rears mocked up now but not sure if I like them together even though I've seen a car with both of them on and thought I liked the look.

What's wrong with the stock undertray?

did you go with the third (center) brake light option for your CSG tail lights? I got my set wired up today and everything worked fine minus the center brake light. it doesn't come on at all when I brake and that is really the only true plug and play part of the set. I tested my OEM center brake light after and the OEM comes on when braking so I know it's not my car or the OEM wiring to the light. I've sent an email to final form USA, but want to know if you had that issue.

Do tell......I need an undertray and was hoping this would fit the bill. Where are you having issues?

Thanks!

Nothing specifically. I wanted the LRB one for their specific v-mount application.

There are two modular side plates for it. The driver's side one doesn't really fit well with the hoses at the bolt points. There were two possibilities with how the bracket could have been positioned around the hoses. Neither was perfect but one way lined up better than the other.

Today was the first test drive!! Car drove very nicely. I do have the hyperblink currently with all the led bulbs so I have to rectify that, I have an led controller that I need to wire in. I haven't seen much on the forums in regards to solutions on this issue with the RX7. The front tires are hitting either the two fender liner bolts or the fenders themselves. I plan to remove the two bolts as well as add some firmness to the front coilovers to see if either of those things improve the situation.

After I returned home, I got the Spirit R cluster in and wired up, the FEED sides mounted, replaced the original cowl with a new oem one and I installed a new HKS bov.

Your tires likely are rubbing your fender liner. It's a common issue, you should tuck your harnesses up to avoid electrical issues. You may also need a slight fender roll or more-aggressive alignment for outer clearance. CPU#2, by drivers left leg, controls hyper flash and can be corrected. Dale Clark made a nice thread about it.

Glad you enjoyed the drive! Pics or it didn't happen

Hyperblink fix for LED bulbs:

Note: Post #41 (simply removing the R1 resistor) worked for me.

Yeah I read that previously. I went ahead and installed the LED controller I got from Japan. Works like a dream!

I'm ok if it's just the liner. When I looked at it briefly, I thought it might be the actual fender. I can roll it, I just prefer not to if at all possible.

I just installed my LED controller and it works perfectly so I'm super happy that issue is gone.

Yes, I did. Mine works. I didn't go through Final Form. Their service is subpar I found. I bought directly from CSG.

Thanks!

I haven't found any really good pics from the event yet. Here is the only one I've seen online so far:

Man the car turned out great... Excited to see more pictures

I too ordered the LRB front license plate, but sent the CNC plate out to get powder coated black. Fits the CW great with the raw metal look tho

I will be coating mine too. Just waiting to do all the parts together when the single goes in.

What did you do to make that intake play nice with the airbag sensor etc?

Changed the placement of the sensor. With the stock steering wheel gone and the Efini wheel not having one, the sensor was less needed than previously.

I might be mistaken, but I believe that is the passenger side air bag sensor. I think you could further disconnect the airbag harness behind the right side of the dash (blue/orange connector?) if you were so inclined. Thanks for the info; that's one of the intakes I really like.
