rebuild of a 95 fd shave, tuck and going to make a lot of power with a 13b
I love how much work that you've put into this project so far! Keep it up. I've never done any bodywork, any tips for us who wish to do the work themselves? What products did you use? Time involved and tools that made things easier?
my tips are be patient and take your time is the biggest thing. map out all the holes that you want to shave so that youdont fill something you need . i uesd extreme body filler the best filler ive ever used very easy to sand and flexable. time in the bay im going to say i have over 150 hrs in the bay. i used my tig welder to weld up all the holes it took so long im now goinng to buy a mig gun so much faster . other tools a DA sander and grinder, a lot of cut wheels and grinding discs. and still the thing cant stress enough is take your time. if anyone has any questions how i did something just ask im more than willing to help you guys out.
Man, your not done this thing yet ;-).... I think that color will look a lot different on an fd. The lexus has very square edges and an fd obviously doesnt. Colors like that are hit or miss on round cars like an Fd.
Keep up the good work!!!

thanx for staying interested guys it means a lot. and not really much of an update been super busy with work, school, and i just built a house. cant wait to move into my new shop to get some more custom stuff for the car. ill start to have a lot more updates in a couple months im going to be buying my turbo and all the piping to make my manifold.
Did you run you peri ports off the primary or secondary runners, or both? I can't tell what's going on behind the plates
Also is that whole "volume" open behind the plates you welded in or are there runner tubes behind it feeding the peri ports?
