Operation Grey Hair
Always wanted an evo so i could corner hard and overtake on any corner whether the road busy or not. decided that if i can't get an evo, i'll settle for an impreza and if i can't have any AWD car then my only option will be a RWD. Then i told myself again that if i have to get a rwd, it had to be a RX7 because of the size and the looks of the car (not the engine). Turned out that i heard one was for sale and was a very good deal for the price... knowing that there were only 3 of these cars on my island. i had to own one.
but this is how i bought the car.
everybody thought i went crazy

got back to the garage with the car and started cleaning it up.
i was told that the former owner wanted this car to be the fastest street car on my island so he spent some $ to do so but never got to finish his project. when i fronted him about buying the car and what will i be getting with it, he mentioned a haltech E6K, Exedy twin disk clutch, Garrett GT42 and some other goodies. while purchasing the car, i got the car with no ECU, no Turbo, no Injectors, no exhaust, etc (i pretty much got stabbed in the back) so i got myself into a situation where i had to fork out more money than i suppose to, to complete the car.
one of my skyline friends gave my his stock turbo to use which only lasted a few minutes, thanx paddie...lololol
somehow the engine the car came with was a bridgeport and had some serious problems, had to buy a new one...smh got one and transfered the parts to it.

got through a used apexi pfc for the car
wasn't expecting to pass licence inspection with a loud exhaust and a body that needs plenty work, but hey, my country has no laws really for loud exhaust or drinking and driving ..
a little car show came along to raise funds for the motor club so i did body work along with rims and some few stuff to enhance the look of the car.
got some 18'' rims

a little video from the car show.
GMC Speed Fest Final Car Show (design factory sponsered slide show) - YouTube
drags came 2 months after and was looking forward to putting down a decent time. sold the rims and went out looking for sponsors.
at the design factory where the car was being wrapped.
tuned the car earlier on in the week, everything was fine until the car got to the track, it caught some bug. the car wouldn't rev out. Decided to make a pass and see, went on the line, launch and couldn't pass 4,000rpm in each gear... ended up doing a time of 15.2... only to realise the brand new walbro i installed a month before drags failed on me and damaged the engine as well.
rebuilt the following week and decided to just get drunk and enjoy myself, didn't care again about breaking out the engine.

before putting back the engine, i upgraded a few stuff . i moved from a FD3s intake manifold to a Cosmo Intake manifold. reason i did so, the ports are bigger and suppose to help with bottom end power, also moved from a stock throttle body to an 80mm throttle body.
Defi boost gauge
Apexi Boost controller
innovate wideband
5 toggle switches which i will explain later in the thread for you guys
short shifter
after selling the apexi power FC, i went to an AEM ems and i had alot of trouble getting the car to start, i sold the aem afterwards and went with Microtech.

i skipped one part but its best to do it now than never.
the space in which the v mount rad came out
mount made to hold the stock rad stand up
condenser goes in before rad.
ended up removing the condenser.
after all that, i was encountering over heating problems still.
got rid of the stock fan cuz they were spinning slow and the stock rad.
