I'd love to believe this statement Gordon, but until someone stateside takes on the issue of 4 rotor eshaft production and brings the cost down considerably, I can't see this direction being more than a limited experiment in power potential. I hope I'm proven wrong. We'll see!

Logan in your experience, does adding more rotors in itself lead to more high rpm instability? For example, everything else being equal would a 2 rotor be safer at 10k than a 3 rotor? I was always under the assumption that was true, so just wondering if a 4 rotor would be inherently more "wobbly" (for lack of better words) and need extra bearing support?

Ryan Farrell tossed a go-pro into the infamous n/a 3-rotor two years ago at deals gap. Here is the awesome result, after his editing. I'm very happy to see her in the element and accurately convey what behind the wheel is like. At that state it was actually 400rwhp, since we had to rush to the event without a re-tune. Doesnt matter though, still plenty of fun

Yeah it's getting closer to completion. This engine is anan incarnation of so many ideas I've always wanted to do. The amount of hand machining, fitting, Porting, cutting, tapping..... It's immense. One monster motor. I might hold out on any pics to gain attendance at a future event coming up :-)

Just reread the thread, really top notch Logan. Making me rethink my plans for the car just after I got it running on a single turbo REW. Too bad we can't always have our cake and eat it too... Looking forward to future updates. Keep up the amazing work.
PS. You should check out 7 Not Stock. Its the V8 guy's event, usually in Indy in the fall. I went and I'm a rotary guy and I still had a great time. In fact, I think all the rotary guys should attend at least once. You might be surprised how much us rotary freaks (to use their term) have in common with us. Ya know, different strokes for different folks.

Long time thread revival...question for @GtoRx7. if he sees this. You mentioned the 20b cant rev out past 8900 RPM without extensive oil modifications. Is this still the case? Any new mods that can combat this? I'm following down your foot path of a basic streetport NA build and trying to make sure I have all my T's crossed before the motor goes back together.
I have a # series motor
Shimmed oil pressure regulator
9.7:1 rotors
Clearanced and balanced assembly
Large streetport
EFI Hardware ITBs
Going to try and replicate your exhaust manifold that was shared here.
Local machinist said I can dremel out the rough casting in the pump area to increase flow, besides that it gets expensive drilling and tapping the plates for additional oil.
