Now the good stuff.
The porting is pretty much complete. Jim is just making it smooth.

looks good cant wait to see that beast finnished... the body is not *bad* but its not my taste.. i've seen better but i've also seen alot worse (veilsides cat fish body kit comes to mind)

the one thing is.. you like it and thats all that really matters...

personally my opinion is paint it a nice color possibly 2 tone.. but leave it see through enough that you can only tell once up close instead of the whole car looking like a giant bilbord...

cheers

Thank you. That is a large compliment from any member of 935. I am sure you can build one as good or better....but then I will have to do something to catch up

Update. The show is the Feb 17th. Hope to have the engine, fuel system and rear in by Sunday...Leave the rest of the week to get things tuned up. Waiting for the turbo to come in...Hope that happens soon....

Tial BOV came in....Keith at KG hooked it up...We are not sure if we are going to need the 60mm that just came out or not....

The KG fuel rails and Injectors....

The Electromotive Tec 3......Thanks Dee.

One of my favorite mods to date.....Carbon Kevlar Headliner.....

I do like it, and your right, that is what matters. Sponsors really help make this possible, thus the stickers. None of the stickers are for show, it is business. The body is functional...allows for wider wheels, cuts weight in the right places. I believe there are some better looking kits out there, and some that are more functional, most, are also more expensive. Here is another kit, hopefully that I will put on my next FD.

You sure that's not a Tial 44m V-band WG ? Carbon-kevlar headliner looks **** , everything is coming along nicely. Would love to see it in person someday

That is definately a TiAL 44mm wastegate. Looks just like mine did when I got it. Even came in the same box. You should have a pretty good size TiAL sticker in the box too. Good luck on the project. Looks awesome and keep up the good work.

Yes it is the Tial 44 wastegate. As I should have stated above, we are "not sure if we will need the new 60mm Tial wastegate" because of creap with only the 44.

Pictures of the BOV to follow.

Hey Rich, you can have the sticker if you want....

Standard ratios.
The axles are from KG parts, and supposed to hold over 800hp...I just hope I can put that to the test....someday....

Thank you for the compliment.

I should have one. Gotham just installed a Tial in my car and I'm not a sticker guy. Would be happy to send it to you when I get the car back - hopefully soon.

The 44mm is too smaller if you want to run around 10psi. Here is the basis for my opinion
1.) I spoke to Greg, the president of TiAL and in no uncertain terms -too small . . .

2.) Forum member C-Rock (who own's mike's old 20b) also had major boost creep with the 44 using a T-76 and has since replaced it with an HKS 60mm.

3.) I put up a post about this in the 20b section awhile back and got some good feedback:

The problem could probably be mitigated to some extent by running an exhaust restrictor, but it's a bandaid fix. The other option is more boost.

Car looks great.. just not that much off a fan when it comes to the interior parts.
I would have stripped it inside...

Keep it up

Thanks CMonakar. Looks like it will be a 60....or dual 44s.

Aspec continually says they have had no problems with creep using the 44...so I am still going to give it a try....but more then likely I will be coming up with your results ... and someone will have a new 44 to buy

Thanks. Honestly I would have stripped it as well, and made it a bracket buster....all aluminum...something like that...however, there are major points scored by the National Custom Car Association, that are really based on modifying the interior. Some people go full fiberglass, which is not my thing. Hopefully this will win some shows this year....
