NY My Restoration Build

I finally decided to make build for my 1993 FD. I have owned this car for almost 10 years. And in those 9 or so years she has sat for at least 7 for personal reason and fallen into disrepair, now i am working on getting her back up on her feet. So far the engine is out i have upgrade the factory radiator i have a blitz front mount intercooler, Xxcessive Manufacting motor mounts, stop tech brake lines, Os Giken Clutch. I had a Aem-Ems Plug And Play and am now waiting on my Haltech Elite 1500. Enough talk here are some pics

The xcessive mounts are somewhat of challenge to mate with the subframe. Kind of a square peg in round hole situation. I had to lower the subframe and do a lot of wiggling to get the bolts to align. It's also easier w/o the DP (which may be SOP).

I also had transmission alignment issues using a steel driver side motor mount arm. The standard xcessive mounts are made for stock AL arms. I had to call xcessive to get a smaller mount for the transmission to align properly.

Good luck with the build. Looks like you have some work in front of you to get her back to her former glory

Thanks bro working tirelessly to fund this project. One more Piece left that is the turbo. Borg Warner ask a lot for their Efr Line i just hope its all worth it. Once the engine is complete and tuned i can worry about the body work, suspension, and etc

Quick Update. I haven’t been on here in a while. The turbo has been is for a few months I just haven’t had the time to update the thread. I added a few more goodies xccessive manifold. I’m looking to go 99 spec by the end of the week and grab the full function light weight rails and id2000s and id1000s.

Manifold

SSR LongChamps 18x8 fronts and 18x9 rears probably going to to have them rebuilt and refinished to 18x10 all around.

This freakin thing

Quick little update ordered a new 99 spec front bumper from Rx7.com I was skepitcal on the purchase but everything worked out and it arrived yesterday with the rebar. Needless to say I'm excited on how everything is coming together. I will probably be picking up the Full Function Light Fuel Rails and the new CJ-Motorsports Twin Pump Hanger.

Been alittle while so here is what has been going on with the build. The wheels came back from the shop and I can't tell you how good they came out. It was a budget build because wheels just aren't a priority at this stage of the build nevertheless they are here and they look great. My Full Function Lightweight Fuel Rails are in along with my Injector Dynamics 1050s primaries. Next on the list are the secondaries and CJ Motorsports dual fuel pumps, but till then I will leave these pics of my wheels.
