Thanks guys, appreciate the comments! Very happy with how it's going so far.
Going to have a better update soon, been busy doing quiet car on my interior and when I re-install there will be new seats finally! more on that later. If anyone wants stock red leather seats in good shape lmk.
Also have some AutoEXe chassis bars set to go in courtesy of $lacker. And planning to order the new Banzai tranny brace.
Other then that I'm enjoying the mountain as much as possible!

Time for a little update. Thanks to Slacker I now have some AutoExe chassis braces. Going to touch them up and install once I get a lowpro jack from Harbour Freight to make getting it on jack stands easier.
Also did a test fit on this Feed B-Pillar bar also courtesy of Slacker. My plan is to have it powder coated black so it doesnt stick out so bad.
Pulled out the passenger seat and removed the rails in prep for the seats I finally decided on. Going to modify and weld brackets for install
I sourced these Recaros on the RX8 club from a member with an R3. Big thanks to Ka Kui for meeting him in T.O. and hanging on to them for me.

My plan is to test fit and see if the grey center looks good, if not Im considering red suede or Alcantara where it is currently grey, potentially with a different stitch pattern. I'm thinking the addition of red in the center might look better with the door panels, and the red stitching already on the seats. We'll see, might be too much red. However I like how it looks here in reverse.
I'm also going to remove the side airbags etc.
My red seats are now available for anyone that may want them, with red seatbelts etc. to match if needed. Any decent offer excepted or trade potentially, pm if interested.

Thanks for the comments guys!
I've been looking for CS or R3 seats for almost a year at this point, found these R3's and couldn't pass them up. Got them crazy cheap compared to what people normally ask as well, pretty excited to modify and install them.
I hear you on the height, defiantly don't want to sit higher then stock, think the custom rail setup I'm planning should take care of that though.

Thanks guys, can't wait to get them modded and installed, all the more so as a member is picking up the red leather seats in the next few days.
So the snow here is almost gone (in the village that is, still over 300cm base on mtn! ) and they are starting to sweep the streets, the sun has been out and I'm getting the itch.
Finished installing the Efini Y-Pipe and gaskets tonight, thinking about putting the battery back in tomorrow and going for a spin around the block if it's sunny!
Thanks to 20B 3 Rotor for the parts! For those that haven't done the Y-Pipe yet, be careful with the gasket lol!
Front and rear Strut Bar as well as B-Pillar Bar are off to powder coat, will post pics when they get back.

Thanks! was very stoked to get them, can't wait to see how they look installed.
So started the car up today and went for a quick lap around the neighbourhood.... I LOVE this car so much.... the months of not driving and trying not to think about it are over. Really remember how great it is as soon as the engine fires.
Looking forward to an epic summer!! Hopefully they finish sweeping the streets by the time I get the seats in and the AutoExe chassis braces installed.

Once the seats go in I should be ready to go, for the most part . Will definitely post details once things are organized.
In the mean time here are some pics when I took the car out after changing the fluids etc.
She needs a clean desperately. Especially the wheels!
