So the shiny RX7 font and Veilside badge being blue was driving me nuts. Decided to black them out to better fit in with the rest of the car.
Really like how the RX7 emblem turned out. For the Veilside badge thinking of going in a different direction.
I have an oldschool Mazda steering wheel Emblem that I'm refreshing as a possibility.

This is the Badge I'm thinking about, next to my other Veilside Badge.
I'm liking the old font and the black, it's hard to tell in the picture but the Mazda logo is floating in the center giving it a nice depth.

Went for a cruise the other day, car is working great, still working out some kinks, and getting some more parts together to get the interior in order. Took the hood off for fun.
Navigation and Sirius all hooked up and the speakers are getting upgraded.
Went with a new Nardi shift **** to tie in the steering wheel.
Also going to go with a bit larger tire to give just a bit more clearance as current setup is sooo low.

Was very excited to recieve a package from Ray at Malloy Mazda this morning. Inside was some new rubber hood stops, and a fuel sending unit. As I've been driving around with a slightly crooked hood and no fuel gauge, I was stoked!
Pulling the pump etc. went smoothly, and was very happy to see the gauge rise to the amount that seemed to be in the tank when it was open. Went to the gas station to fill up and go for a celebratory cruise when the clutch started slipping and then died all together. Really sucked as I had to limp back to my garage through traffic. Not cool.
Now to source a new clutch. Had been using a 6 puck, not sure why it gave out as there wasn't much mileage on it.

Had a job opportunity where I could not bring the car, have decided to keep it anyway. Will be fun when I get to use it regardless. Lots planned over the winter, single turbo, complete dynamat interior, new seats, leather wrapped dash and door panels, custom halon system, further chassis bracing, improved ride hight.

Halon Fire Suppression
Acquired a Halon Fire Suppression unit today, going to clean it up, paint it, then install it somewhere as yet to be determined.
Thinking about using brake line as it is metal, flexible, and easy to direct to various points in the engine bay.

So I cleaned up the Halon Fire Suppression System, here are the pics of the tank and bracket as it progressed:
Mocked it up to see how it looks
Not sure if I want it visible, probably going to mount it in the spare tire location and run the lines with my meth lines. Then run the pull cord to somewhere near the upper B-Pillar, or integrate it into the center console, that way everything is clean and tucked away.

Some pics of a cruise with some mates from a couple of weeks ago.
Think the season might be over for the Seven. With the clutch parts still not here yet, and the rainy season upon us, I think I'm going to get started on some projects I've been planning.
Over the winter I'd like to do the following:
- Pull out the interior and apply Quiet Car or Dynomat
- Wrap the Dash and door panels, either Black Alcantara or Leather for the Dash and Red leather for the door panels
- Slave and Master Cylinder replace
- E-brake Cables
- Single Turbo
- Front and Rear Dampers for the Hood and Hatch in Carbon Fiber
- Powder coat various engine pieces black
- Improved Ride Height
- Run Fire Suppression Lines
- New Seats
- New Shift Console, Drivers Door Plastics, Passenger Door Plastics and Handle

Thanks KKMpunkrock2001! It's hard to tell in photos, but it is really dependent on the lighting conditions how it comes across. Looks a lot different in person, almost comes across bluish in pictures, but in reality much closer to a battleship grey.
