Damn that r888/rpf1 combo is so sexy. I never thought I'd hear myself saying tires are sexy but those hit the spot.

Let me know what you think of that fuel pump. I've been considering going a similar route but I'm still on the fence.

Just wondering why you went with koni yellows out of all the different brands. Just wondering, totally thought you would go with some Zeals or penski's/cusco/dg5's etc

i had koni yellows on my previous FD on stock springs and it was great.

are those koni yellows and ground control threaded bodies? i'd imagine that was less than $1000 and should outperform a lot of the stancebro coilovers.

It was more then $1000 but I think with the custom setup it cost a little extra...

I used to do a lot of shock repair and rebuilding etc and this setup has always worked a lot better than those brands in my experience. Most of those units don't do much dampening; their valving setup just doesn't do much, and their spring rates aren't much good unless you are on a glass track.

YESSSSSSSS. i have mine too, just been lazy to get it done. cant wait to see pics.. i dont think plastidip is "great" but its a damn great solution and the results are acceptable in my book. its a lot nicer driving a car not worrying about a 5-7k paint job!!

ps i really want rpf1s

I say leave it in the box just for that picture. It'll give you something to think about if you ever do have a fire.

I really think you're making a mistake with that plasidip being that the original paint is there and doesn't seem bad at all. You just need to paint a bumper cover to match and it shouldn't be that expensive.
But you seem like the kind of guy who needs to learn the hard way so I think you'll do what you plan to do no matter what anyone tells you.
