got my ronin rails modified so the seat will sit as far back as possible. I’m probably a millimeter or two from the back seat. Went ahead and wrapped the rails in carbon vinyl to match the seats. Turned out pretty well. Also got some dress up bolt hardware cause I didn’t like the flange head or the Allens with washers
seat is an XL seat I’m 230lbs and broad shouldered and I fit perfect and they just ever so slightly touch the door panel. Not even enough to move the panel with the door closed. I also feel like the seat is sitting a little crooked so I might need to adjust the rails.
still need to make a seat belt mount and clean up a few little things but car is getting there.

1 of 1 bridgemoto steering wheel came in! Have to say this is one of the highest quality steering wheels I’ve ever had and I’ve had just about every major brand. Leather quaility is amazing. The baseball stitch is beautiful, super solid frame with no flex. I’m very happy with is.

thanks man! I read through other peoples build threads and it seems like they go crazy so quick. I’m over here just doing basic mods and maintenance for now. Makes me feel like my threads lame 😂😂 but Engines running smooth so I’m just enjoying it while I can.

Got my steering wheel in, ordered a passenger side seat cover today in genuine black leather with red stitch (so it matches the bucket seat) from one of my suppliers in Japan (Ltide) so that should be here in a couple months.
plans to accomplish soon:
Swapping out to red floor mats and red cargo mat
new gauge pod, seems drakes is my only real option. For a nice RHD pod.
headlight build cause the RE IPF lights SUUUUCCCK
then decide if I wanna do kts/ autoexe rear tower or just go head and do a bolt in half cage.
Finally got some good weather in Indy so I went for a drive and took some pictures.

Hello all! This is my first FD it is a 92 import brought in my Driver motorsports in VA! I have a thread in the introduction section but I wanted to start a build thread to keep up with all the changes and progress on the car!
photos below are from the day it was picked up from port. After arrival they did a full inspection, new plugs, fresh oil change, full detail, paint touch up on the driver door, and paint less dent removal on the car.
car came with re fixed headlights, bumper, hood, fender, spoiler, skirts, rear quarter flairs, re dolphin tail cat back, and rear bumper extensions.
Interior was stock besides a momo steering wheel and Mazda speed shirt ****.
engine was totally stock
Considering installing headers for 5.7 hemi It's a popular upgrade for enthusiasts seeking improved performance and a meaner exhaust note. Before diving in, ensure you have the necessary tools, including socket wrenches and a torque wrench. Removing the stock exhaust manifold can be challenging due to tight spaces, so patience is key. When installing headers, follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully and torque the bolts to spec to prevent leaks. Consider pairing headers with a performance exhaust system for maximum gains. Once installed, enjoy the enhanced power, torque, and sound of your upgraded Hemi engine.

Not too much going on the last few months. Just been getting a few little things tidied up.
got my Prosport gauge pod in and modified per their instructions to work with a RHD. Doesn’t look bad. Visibility is good but all in all wish I would have just gone with the Drakes pod.
also finally got rid of the junk autozone splines and got my moteki forged lug nuts on.
I got my greddy elbow, but need to get a couple inter cooler pipes made.
next on my list is getting my wideband installed and seeing about wiring my boost controller up with a single Mac solenoid.

Are you using ProSport gauges as well? They are local to me and I was thinking about picking some up for one of our other cars. I didn't know the quality of them though, I know they used to be a "budget" gauge years ago but they look like they have stepped it up. I had a miserable experience with PLX recently so I'll be staying away from them from now on.

id say they are still budget gauges, but I haven’t had any issues with mine. They read accurately, don’t skip or cut out. Install was easy and sensors they use seem to be good quality. Only issue I’ve had with mine is my harness broke one wire when I was swapping gauge pods. Honestly probably my fault, but easy fix none the less.
if you have any specific questions or want to see them in action feel free to message me. Happy to send you photos / videos ect. My company is also a dealer for them. So, let me know and I’ll hook you up on the cost the best I can.
I got their JDM series.

You car is so sick! And I usually don't like widebodys OR that headlight style. Something about that kit, the color of the car, those lights, and those wheels together are perfect. Era-correct and beautiful! I'd be picking my jaw off the floor if I saw it in person.
