Another small updated for the FC!
- Purchased a set of floor mats on Ebay. Was going to get the ones from Garage Alpha but the seller lowered the price on these to under $100 and it has the blue outline which matches the blue interior. Thought to myself, got to do it!

Out with the old (driver side). I feel that these were meant for a 1st gen.

In with the new (driver side). Lets see how long these will hold up for!

Nice touch with the floor mats.

My drivers seat has that same wear/depression and I'm considering taking the skin off, fixing the foam, and reupholstering.
I'm thinking of going with some custom fabric touches, since the only upholstery kit I've found is in leather.

I'm in the same boat as well. I was thinking of trying to find Infini seats but i do like the blue seats with the car. I haven't looked deeply to see if they have blue or grey mazdaspeed seats but definitely am thinking of doing reupholstering on the car. Or maybe do some cloth RX8 seats and have those reupholstered in the same blue color. Options galore, but not so much in the financing department. Lol.

I have some Rx8 seats sitting in the loft, but every post or video I've seen about fitting them in the FC leads to a huge decrease in the headroom which I can't give up. I really like the shape and feel on the stock T2 seats, so I'll probably just go the upholstery route.

Another small update, but this time for the MS6.
- It bothered me that the trim piece for the driver side rail was missing the trim piece but new pieces was more than I was willing to pay, finally came across one though on eBay. Actually, the 1st one i came across was from 541 Motorsports but it got lost in shipping and after a few weeks, decided to just give up on it. Then i found this one for under $10. Something small but makes a huge difference to me.

- My front passenger side window motor was going out as well, it was not stopping when fully opened and fully closed and now that the weather was getting better and I wanted to drive with all windows down, finally decided to get a "new" / used motor and installed it. Didn't take any pictures of the install but the only struggle was getting the door card out. Luckily i had a bunch of spare clips from when I did the rear door card and replaced the three or four that i ended up breaking. Everything else was straight forward and I got a working front passenger side window again.

I do have something awesome coming for the RX7 though. Will post up a teaser photo tomorrow or something.

Friday evening, I had the time to install something that came in last week. Special thanks to @Ka Kui for getting me this from YJA.

Purchased a set of BBS LM wheels for the FC. After much research and patience, I was able to find the fitment that I wanted. Got 18x8 +35 for the fronts and 18x9 +35 for the rears, the last thing I had to settle on was what color I wanted. I was in between the Diamond Black, Gold and Bronze. I know I didn't want the silver but after much deliberation, I settled for Gold. I was also limited on what I can find on YJA but I got my first choice luckily. The wheels came with tires, about 30% tread life left which was perfect so I can test fit the tire size as well and make adjustments for when I end up getting new tires for it. Fronts are wrapped with 225/40/18 and the rears are wrapped with 255/35/28. I also picked up some McGard lugnuts with key locks for obvious reasons and chose their black ones to match the center caps. Hope you enjoy the before and after!

Enjoying the last moments with the S5 T2 Wheels.

That rear wheel gap though...

After installing the wheels, I'll eventually find coilover kit for the car but there is no rush on that at the moment. She'll eventually get the S5 conversion as well and will put the Mazdaspeed spoiler on her too. Still a few more items to switch out like the window belt moldings and upper trim (still need to purchase) as well as a sunroof weather seal too. I do plan on getting a new windshield weather seal and trim set too.

- I do have a question for those who may know, will the Infini aluminum undertray fit on any FC's. I'm assuming it will but don't want to purchase it and find out the mounting is different for whatever reason, she needs an undertray and was in between LRB Speed's aluminum undertray or the Infini one.

Lastly, may have a set of S5 Turbo 2 wheels up for sale. Not sure yet if I'll be sitting on them or not but one of them is leaking out air around the inner bead, its a slow leak that I had to put air in the tire weekly but it drove perfectly fine. Would lose about 8 PSI of air every 7 days depending on weather.

For those with FC's, I'm looking for a set of coilovers that are comfortable for daily driving but also good for a good canyon run or maybe a track day here and there. Any recommendations?

Also, should I install the OEM hatch visor on to the FD?

I have Tein flex-z coils on my FD, and i think they are good for the money.
I've heard a lot of people like Fortuneauto coilovers too, but i have no experience.

The wheels look good, will definitely look way better with a small drop. Loving the progress.

I appreciate the response! I'll definitely look into both those options. I did see Sakebomb with Ohlins, just don't know if I want to invest in Ohlins for the FC.

Would you happen to know if the Infini aluminum undertray works for all FC's? I'm assuming so but either I do that or LRB Speed.
