Thank you!

No mazdaspeed radiator and thermostat, just gonna go with the Koyo Rad and OEM stuff for that. The Mazdaspeed SMIC will go on it with hardpiping but i want to get the stop of the SMIC powerdercoated matte black for that stealthy look.

I did pick up another part for the FD from YJA which I won't post anything until i have hands on it but I'm super excited about it!

As mentioned before, I did pick up something else on YJA for the FD. It arrived today, was delayed in Alaska for customs of course but just arrived today! Another shout out to @Ka Kui for getting this and getting it shipped here.

Can you get what it is? Will open it up this weekend to inspect and take a few pictures. I'm super excited!

Also, yesterday, I finally decided to stop being lazy and get my Efini blank key cut. Went to the Mazda dealership where there was a little disappointment because i brought my own key but getting it cut was free!
It's the small details that bring joy to me.

So last night, I decided to open the huge box to inspect what came in from Japan. Picked up a CF Mazdaspeed A-Spec hood! Shout out again to @Ka Kui for getting it to me! Of course the plan is to get it repainted and not sure if I want to use hood struts on it. Not too much of a concern right now with it. But since I got the hood, it might be time to take the FD to the body shop and fit on the 99-spec front bumper, side skirts, JDM fenders, MS Hood and the Shine Street Diffuser on to the car. Still debating on the 99 spec wing and autoexe CF blade.

After unboxing it, I was going to pack it all up and store it but couldn't help but want to see it on the car. So placed some microfiber cloths down on the hood just to lay it on top to bask in the glory of how it'll look on the car. Because the Mazdaspeed sticker/plaque is fading, i'll probably the the shop not touch that area but paint the surroundings Chaste White. I do wonder if I can fit an OEM insulation cover on it as well and got to look for the hood stickers like the vacuum diagram and make it feel more legit.

Really nice haul, there's something really special about getting OEM parts for a car so old.

I messed up though, purchased the JDM turn signal housings that do not work with USDM cars. Such a noob mistake. Oh well, they will go up for sale shortly!

So I decided to work on the FC. Was going to do the turn signals but that'll have to wait till I get an S5 bumper on.

Doesn't look bare anymore. Got to love the "Mazda RX-7 Mazda"

I detailed the engine bay a little just to clean up some of the dirt but the Mazdaspeed Front Strut Tower Bar looks crooked and there is a dent on it. I couldn't find any reference photos of the Mazdaspeed Front Strut Tower Bar on google from my brief search but I think I may have a dud. There was another MS Front Tower Bar on YJA which looks more uniform on the bend on both sides. No wonder I got this for cheap and the price lured me in rather than inspecting the pictures of the parts. I could be wrong though so I need some help from you all! If it is a dud, i'm going to clean up the Racing Beat bar and then stick it back on.

I also vacuumed the interior trunk area a bit. I also got in some new gaskets for the tail lights which I just wanted to have spares of since i saw a little condensation one morning. I haven't seen it again but doesn't hurt to have some spares. Next up will be to purchase some of the wire covers or heat shrink and clean up the wiring a little. Also, going to install the new pedal covers since i neglected to do them today and going to get the oil pan resealed to get rid of the slight oil leak. Eventually going to get the fuel injectors out and get them cleaned up to see if that'll fix the hard start issue.

Will be posting up pictures of the other boxes I got from Japan hopefully before the 7's day event, if not, it'll be on Sunday, got some goodies!

I'll be taking in the FD to Sake Bomb Garage today (07/03) to get my HID ballast replaced. I purchased their HID conversion when they first introduced it but within the last few months, when turning on the head lights, the lights wont come on. It'll take a bunch of tries to get it to go on but with the evening meet this Saturday, I don't want to gamble not having headlights while driving.

This man living the best life. MkV supra, FD and a T2 FC.

Not that I'm complaining, but are you planning on doing a build thread specifically for the FC too? Would love to keep track of where you take that, unless your plan is to keep this thread about all your awesome cars. Lol.

Haha, thanks! I got another FD that will eventually belong to my brother and an RX8 as well which is down since it was in an accident and will need some repairs done (but it's been a year+ and it's a low priority) and my daily which is a Mazdaspeed6.

Ill be keeping this thread alive for all the vehicles. That way i dont to worry about multiple threads. The FC will be a bit of a restoration project though I do plan on getting a few things done like racing beat sways, cat back and possibly downpipe. Itll also get thr S5 conversion.

Just dropped off the car at Sake Bomb Garage, shouldn't have to worry about lights not turning on anymore getting ready for the 7s day event this weekend!

Are those FC rain/window visors rare?
I have a set I haven't installed yet on the car, and i've had a few people desperately try to buy them off me.

The acrylic ones are pretty rare, they don't come up in auction as much and definitely not as readily available. The Carbon Fiber ones are more readily available and are based off the acrylic ones. If you're not going to use them, i'll gladly take them from you as well

I forgot to add that I also took the T2 to get the Oil Pan resealed. A local rotary specialist did the work for me! Thanks @rotary#10 for getting the job done!

Thanks, gonna have to plug the current holes but definitely want to get this on. There was only two pictures I found on and one was on 7club. The other picture was on the mazdaspeed catalogue.
I did find the risers but didn't like how it looked so opted not to get it.
