A few more engine bay closeups showing the heater hose routing and other goodness
Btw, I noticed at the Carlisi event my FD got zero attention...... I think it's b/c everyone has seen so many pics of the damn thing that in person it's kinda anti-climactic

Here are some very short vids of a recent weekend when I made a pilgrimage down to the mighty Sakebomb Garage to pay my respects
(btw, if anyone is sick of this thread, please feel free to let me know and I'll let it die )

Edit: I also have an upcoming track day at the short Englishtown course.
Kahren tweaked the low boost tune on the car, the plugs weren't gapped 100% to spec (freaking NGK should supply a special gapping tool with their race plugs) and now that I have them gapped properly the car needed about 3-4% more fuel on boost. It also accelerates more smoothly and feels faster. I smell another dyno chart .
I recently had a set of new Hankook RS2s in 265/35 mounted on some Enkei RPF1s in 18x9.5 that I picked up from Kai here on the forum. The tires were on uber closeout on the Tire Rack, I think I paid like $375 for all four including shipping.
Just received my Racing Brake front ET700 pads today, so after I slap those on there I am ready to rock!

Its cars like Rich's that don't blow up. Everything is done so well and it has all the protection against detonation that you need to have a stable, high horsepower car without worrying. Its beautifully done.
Others may make more power, but Rich could just turn up the boost. He chose a very low boost level to ensure that the car is reliable. Yet it makes great power, especially when you look at the power under the curve instead of the peak power.

+1 very well put Gordon! Many props to Rich and all the others who take the time and have the fore-thought to create such a good build.
Rich, what goodies will we be seeing next on your baby? You showed us teaser pics a while ago...so what is next?
No excuses; we know you have been getting her out on the road and enjoying her...But don't keep us waiting too long....

Some updated pics
I've been running around on my new track wheels, which feature a killer 'sunken battleship' look according to a buddy of mine At only 17 pounds for each 18x9.5 they're hard to beat for lightness.
Also a shot of my newest sticker, I've had it laying around for awhile and thought I found a good spot. I can always roll the window down two inches if I need to cruise in Stealth Mode.
Next we have some an extremely exciting moment in the decade-long evolution of my FD---- the debut appearance of Billy the Banana. Billy came all the way from Japan by way of Sevenstock. He enjoys long walks on the beach and riding shotgun while I crush skylines and ferraris on highway runs
(you can also see my new Gear Man Winning View mirror in black chrome, I had mentioned it earlier in thread and finally had it mounted along with a new windshield)
Next course, NRG short hub>Techniq street quick release>HKB 350mm Steering Wheel. I've been waiting *forever* for my Nardi Deep Corn, so this wheel is just a stopgap. It'll probably make it's way to my FC vert.
(as an aside I'm extremely stoked at the way the flash on my camera makes all the red parts appear pink )
