that's a pretty flimsy excuse to get your cat on the web... and i hate to break the news but Stripes doesn't really look all that interested in your steering hub. maybe catfood off camera?
i like the magnetic drain plug. a search for it just returns Nengun. is there any source for them closer to home?
thanks,
hc

I'm sure you can snag one here in the U.S. These guys look promising:

I'll try and snag some pics, I may have one of it mounted on the car. I snagged it along with a bunch of other parts from Japan, IIRC it wasn't cheap though.

Next DGRR I shall crush you...... you know that's what this is all about right G?
Give me a call sometime Tommy twotimes
Good solid numbers, Rich.
Thewird... It all depends on where (rpm) he made the max torque. As an example, if he made 300 rwt at 7000 rpm, then he would have 400 rwhp. at 7000. More likely, he was making, say, 275 rwt at 7500 and that would also be close to 400 rwhp at 7500. Without seeing a graph, his numbers lead me to think he's got a nice flat torque curve.

Seems like the oem upper intake manifold is holding back some of the high rpm power, based on this graph not sure it makes sense to shift at redline.
That depends on which videos

Based on your torque curve, your ports are bigger then mine ^_^. My peak torque is around 6200 RPM and yours is around 6500 RPM. This is with my old SMIC setup anyway and theres a few changes since then. Nice numbers though for the amount of boost. Can't wait to see the car again at the gap

It is almost always better to take it to redline in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and usually 4th. It depends on how hard it falls off. Also, you need to multiply your power to the ground by the difference in gearing to figure out your "effective" horsepower at each point in each gear. Then, find where your lower shift point will put you in the next gear. I very rarely works out to where shifting early in the first 3 gears will be beneficial... unless you are hitting fuel cut, limiter, etc. Then shifting early is only keeping you from messing up.

I wont be there at the rate I'm going.. Car is apart but have had no response on my paid for parts in 3 weeks. No return calls, e-mails or pms. I hope its not another go around like my old guy i was raked by. I am going to miss the October tune session.

Some pics the morning of the tuning session, right before Scrubby and I rolled down to IRP
The last two are of my new oem areo-dynamic thingermajig...... as to whether it's functional
And a quick shot of my Aquamist pump mounting location. System has been bulletproof since 2006.

Last few shots of my '***** of a car' as it's been so nicely referred to
I took one of the heater hose routing at the request of a guy doing his single install. I cut the front side of the oem pipe and had it ceramic-coated in titanium finish. I'm using thick double ply silicone hosing, the stuff is near indestructible.
I'm also trying to cut down on the use of plastic zip ties in the bay (aside from the ones on the vacuum hoses) and need to fab a bracket for the GM map sensor.
Also note the floor mat with red serging ordered from JasonS here on the forum (forgive the semi-dirty interior)
