That's what my first tranny I broke looked like last year, only 4-5 teeth. The second one that broke was completely stripped which will be your next step . By my experience, I take it you broke it on a downshift?

Lets not forget the rear....

The goodfelllaFD3S pit crew ensures all systems are in check. You can't see G's 3rd gen out of the shot checking the tire pressures.

Uh, I'm not sure I like the direction this thread is taking

Series 8 trans is in, along with reinstalling the B&M short shifter. Feels like a million bucks

Next up is replacing my hood release cable (which was nice enough to wait until I got home from DGRRX to break) and an oil change for the upcoming Monticello track day

Mileage means nothing when your making the powerz . The first tranny I broke was completely rebuilt with all new parts and it broke after just a few track days. I'm already collecting spares in my garage cause I know I'm going to break a few more this year . Rev matching is helping the my transmissions last a little longer but they will still break eventually.

Haha, nice video Thomas Bagels . BTW, that Ford Mustang GT500 KR is $83,000, has 540hp, and 510 ft lb of torque and traps 116 in the 1/4. Rich was on high boost for the second run (487 rwhp) and wooped his ***!

That GT500 KR rolled up on a pack of us and was rev'ing his engine at each FD he passed.... he definitely wanted some. Well, he got it

The first 'pull' on the curve he had a lot of momentum and i was playing catch up so we were about even. After that he didn't seem to want to go again.

Garrett (G) was riding with me and started yelling to whoop his *** and not let him get away with messing with us

Sooo...... I walked him hard when we made a clean run, and he actually got the jump by a little bit. IIRC we went all of third and fourth gear. I didn't know it at the time, but my third gear was about to BEND Definitely a fast car for bone stock, if I was on lower boost it would have been a driver's race.

Pulled off the highway and chatted for a bit, the owner was floored by how fast the FD was and even more so when I told him it was an 80 cubic inch engine His wife told me she used to own a 94 R2 and regretted selling it.

Btw, I did a bit of research and the new non-KR versions trap 118, I'm pretty sure these suckers trap around 120 or so.
