how about

a larger mouth opening to cool the intercooler and the radiator. I would hate to see your car detonate or overheat, but I guess that with $35k, you've already taken precautionary measures Awesome car!!

There isn't enough room for a V-mount using the "Pettit-style" 20B conversion. Sits too far forward.

Yea that's what I was gonna say. You'd have to move the engine back a bit (till it touches the firewall) at the least, if not move it back through the firewall to free up enough room for a V-mount. Setting something at an angle takes a lot more distance than vertically.

Yeah I threw around the V-mount Idea but I couldn't get it to fit.

Besides, the car has two really large Spal fans installed to cool the radiator. I really don't think cooling is going to be an issue.

See my post regarding the Spal fans for the radiator. As for the intercooler, Pettit had a difficult time heat soaking the engine during tuning (Cam wanted to see how the car/Wolf performed with heat soak). It took him quite a bit of time to get the car to the point of heat soak. I could keep my hand on the intake plumbing/pipes and feel the cool air coming in from the intercooler.

This was way different from my old setup.

I would have agreed with you about a year ago. I removed the emblem then and never got around to putting it back on the car. I kind of like the stealth look of it. It also makes people do a double take and ask what kind of car is that? Of course they can find that out from the back end.

Get Efini emblems. You'll still get the double-takes, and the car will look more "factory". I agree that the front end needs an emblem, or else it looks too "kit car" (not yours in general, all of them).

always glad to add to your confusion! stick with the fd - if you go corvette, you'll need to buy lots of gold chains and a smoking jacket!!

David david, simply georgious.

99spec tails could look very nice, imagine seeing those 4 circle lights at night, so low to the ground and separated from each other...as that Z06 taunts you from behind...he won't know what hit em!

Liscence plate?

How about putting it very simply: "550HP20B," "20B FD," or "3 ROTOR" lol. Heck, you could even do "$35K 20B." I'm sure that would get the point across VERY well.

Mine says FEARED. I think that would fit your car as well.

Thanks for all of the great comments on the car. I can't wait to go to Pettit for the final tuning. Will definately post more video at the beginning of next year.

Thanks for all of the license plate ideas - you are all very creative!!

As for the 99 spec rear lights, I'm still thinking about them. We'll see. I keep going back and forth on if I want to do the conversion.
