Fantastic looking car, and I like the look of riveted on flares. I think you should leave it how it is. The rivets just add more to the flares, very GTU racing/mad max rugged looking.
Congratulations

It takes alot to make me jealous but Mr. Hayes you have succeeded. I can't wait to get out of law school, one class action and I'm heading to Pettit. Beautiful car Mr. Hayes. Congrats.

Wow, the car is just beautiful, with the conversion looking very clean!

Those power numbers are just impressive -- you are equaling a highly-modded stock twin 13B in "go-easy mode" with only 6 psi. Not to mention that beautiful torque curve!

Very jealous. Enjoy it!

The folks at Pettit are awesome, very sweet bunch. I droppped the CYM at Pettit last september(saw Davids 20b there) and Cam built me a lucious bulletproof motor that I can't stop raving about. Everytime I look at the PETTITRACING plate stamped on the motor, I get misty eyed & very emotional.
Its worth the investment.

Congratulations David.

The story get more interesting but it will have to wait until Monday morning!
Damn, Wish I would have known you were coming to ATL. I work at the airport and I worked today... Would have been great to meet you.

you must not have the same passion as some do. i get chills and sometimes even teary eyed just seeing or being around certain cars, it's an emotion.

And David, the car looks great. I met the Pettit crew at RR this past April and they were great to talk to. Looks like the car turned out just like you wanted, and I love those rear flares, don't mold them in!

Congrats David. The car looks great.

At 9 PSI or so, you should be at 405ish - rwhp. Enjoy this for a little while, and when your next cash flow comes in, let me know.

Congratulatuions David - Your FD is Gorgeous!!!

You made me a little homesick when you showed that picture of the Moroso motorsport park pit lane... that used to be my home track when I race F440's (SCCA) back in the early '90's. I hope you follow up and try a Skip Barber school.... it's a great way to learn, but be warned....you might get hooked!! ha... I did.

Best Regards
Oliver

hey David, was the bottom line still around 35k? I've heard this number thrown around before but I want to know how accurate it is when all is said and done

I'm also curious to know how quickly the car revs, compared to a 13b....do you notice the additional rotating mass?

With that amount of torque on hand passing through traffic must be a cake, without that resonance associated with 13Bs at high rpms.

David, you're breaking it in with practically 400hp at the flywheel, with a base map, at 6 psi. haha

With all this new cars coming out of the factory with practically 400hp, we'll all be going 20b soon.
If only the crossmember was more affordable.

The only thing I'd kick myself about would be fooling with a rotary in the first place... but oh well.

Very nice project David - congrats!
