Kilo Racing 3 Rotor FD Conversion

Lenny that is pretty much what I was thinking. I am not sure my driving skills on track would benefit that much but if a wing would help I would consider putting one on. I really like tvon's wing.
On the news front, no news. I've been so busy haven't had time to call Kilo. Need a video of the car running.

Junito1 that won't work for me but thanks for posting. First not sure the design would be track sanctioned for the HPDE events I do as it protrudes quite a bit out from the back. Second the last time I dealt with the developer of that wing taught me never to do it again.

^ Hi Gordon.
1) Some wiring stuff to ensure it's all correct. Kilo redid the OMP wiring yesterday as it was wrong.
2) He was waiting on a waterproof 4 relay module to use to wire up the fans. I think most all other wiring is ready to go.
3) He needs to check and fix the ABS system as the cluster light is on.
4) He needs to check the brakes as it appears the check valve is bad or in backwards.
5) Some bodyshop stuff. Needs to add on tabs to the Shine fenders so we can install OEM fender liners.
6) Asked him to ensure the v-omount setup is properly ducted.
7) Not sure if the AC lines have bee made and run or if the system is recharged.
Other than that, probably some stuff I am missing but he should then be good to go. Hear it will be up and running again this week so we shall see.

This may be the way to go. Let me check out what is going on here and then I will get back with you.
I want to be there for the tuning at the very least but am not adverse to sending the car with you to Simon's event and then up here. Car travels better than I do.

David, if you hate driving it long distances I got a enclosed gooseneck trailer now with makeshift living area in the front. Would be a fun road trip

^ I was going to make a smartass comment about it's more than going in a straight line, but then again, as my car never seems to be running, I probably shouldn't throw stones so to speak.
My plan was to trailer the car back anyway so that might work really well. It's about a 9 hour trip from Kilo's to Asheville NC.

I hear yes but I have heard that before. Kilo is great and I wouldn't trust the car with anyone else so it's in his hands.
I know what you mean. Have signed up for track events that past two years, only to be left driving the father-in-law's Z4. Really want to get the 3 rotor out to see what it can do.

Well, got to hear the engine fire up and have to say, it sounds outstanding. Evil, strong, throaty. Now if I can get Kilo to video it, I'll post it up
In any event, car is running and just a few more things to button up. Kilo is busy redoing the AC lines and is running the low pressure on the opposite side from the turbo. He has a JDM hose for this that routes to the other side.
Estimated ETA is still mid-October, with a delay possible in bringing the car back to Asheville via Simon's event and Ruler Mark's offer.
In the meantime, as I wait, I just redid my center brake section to be all LED, with one continuous strip of light. Will post up some pics soon.
