The car was tuned to 320 RWHP at 12.5 PSI. Basically, it was pretty conservative but certainly fun to drive.

As for the stock intercooler, it's not mine. I had a custom FMIC.

Well, the engine and other listed items sold today for $4500. The new owner of the engine is sending his car to Pettit to have the engine and other goodies installed in his car. I kind of feel like a "heart" donor, passing on a piece of my car to him.

Anyway, still waiting on the Wolf EMS to show up. Chris states it has been shipped from Australia. Once this arrives, we should be a few weeks away from finishing the project.

I'll get more pics posted soon. Haven't bothered Pettit because of the hurricanes but I have heard they have some pics of the engine and the new wheels.

Damn, I need to get a gig like that going.

Upgrade a car, sell the old **** and charge to install it in someone else's car.

So when is it projected to be complete?

Update!!

The Wolf EMS is in! Just spoke with Pettit today and the projected installation date for the EMS is Wednesday. Tommorrow is devoted to finishing the wire harness.

Chris Greene, the new USA distributor for Wolf, is flying down tomorrow to work with Cam on the installation and the tuning. I've now spoken with both Cam and Chris about this and am pretty pleased that they'll both be helping out on the car. Should end up with one very well tuned RX7. Will definately post the dyno of the results.

So, all in all, looks like the project will be wrapped up in about two weeks!

FYI on the old engine - it's now installed in the new owner's car. Hasn't been totally hooked up yet, but they're close.

The 20B is, without a doubt, one of the most over-hyped engines in history.
my ol bbr1 fd dynoed at 270rwhp at 10psi with conservative tuning..
with less mods than what was mentioned with 90s temps inside the dyno bay..
rb intake duct with kn.. pettit resonated mp.. rb catback.. pettit dp.. power fc.. alt and wp pulleys..

Last time I checked, you can convert in. Hg to psi...

1 psi = 2.036021 in. Hg

excellent.. hopefully you'll have her back soon.

On a side note, I just ordered a good bit of the fuel system today. I can't wait to have this thing back on the road.

Wow, the posts continue to be entertaining.

I will definately post pictures as soon as I can. Haven't pressed Pettit for any lately (hurricanes). Looks like I might get to pick up the car the first week of November - we'll see.

Pettit's is pretty sweet. If they are working on your car I've probably seen it a couple times. I go by Pettit's every now and then as it isn't far from my house.

EDIT: They do some clean work too. Quality stuff.

Yes they do. My car has been in the shop for about 90 days, so, if you've noticed a 20B conversion, it's probably mine (black 1994 FD).

Today's supposed to be the day for the Wolf install and tuning! I think I'll call later today to see what's up.
