wow man excellent build thread.... keep up the good work... LOVE the wheels

 

made a couple more improvements to the ol' gal today.

first up was to install the factory bumper support. somewhere along the line, someone took it off and probably canned it. flyin fritz was nice enough to offer one and sent it out.

took a bit of work and trimming of the support to get the bumper to fit and its still not perfect but its no longer floppy and saggy and is now an actual rigid piece of the car.

secondly was to try and address the issues with intake air temps. recent trip to the dyno and plenty of advice from other enthusiasts proved to me that sometimes stock isnt best. i went ahead and went with an upgrade that looked close to stock and the casual passerby wont notice. trust smic installed.

i still need to figure out ducting and significant improvements have not yet been realized as a result.

made some ducting. sealed it to the radiator and covered one full fan and half of the second. hopefully its effective.

also finally uninstalled the bunk ebc and hid the mbc.

 

just small progressions. really enjoying the car this summer.

 

the mod bug is starting to itch. must resist
