Jayscoobs Budget Build Thread

Definitely holding off and doing trans first, more bushings, interior and finally exterior. Gotta get her off the stock look. Oh and a simplified harness. I still have my sequential harness in there, left It in case I don't like NS or single but I don't really intend on going back. Kind of miss the quick spool. Way way down the road if I do single it has to be rx6 kit or something similar.
Anyways what's a good clutch and flywheel combo? Might do exedy stage 2 since think it's closest to stock feel. I know nothing about flywheels though.

Just added a short shifter today. This is the replica B&M short shifter from Banzai. Out of all of my cars that had short shifters this is by far the shortest one, its stupid short compared to stock. Anyways not much updates, taking a break from working on the car a lot and just doing little stuff now. Time to enjoy it for a little bit and plan out a single build. Still deciding to do a traditional single setup or go with a BW EFR IWG turbo. Haha I know my thread isnt very exciting but im doing everything peformance and under the skin first before I touch anything on the exterior.

Got the wheels I always wanted. Im inspiring my FD to be fully functional and this is as everyone knows the lightest wheel for the price for our cars as well as the only wheels that I can get a +45 all around on. I wanted a squared setup because with the RE Amemiya wheels I had I really didnt like how the car handled. With these it handles like a dream and grippy as well. 17x9 RPF1 +45 with Hankook ventus v12 evos.

Also went to a car show at Blackhawk car museum in Danville. 600+ cars attended to this. All different cars it was really nice.
A lot of 60s Vettes, man I thought these were suppose to be rare there were at least 20 at this show.
Love for the GTO
GT500
This is one of my favorites. A old E Type Jag.
And the daddy of them all. Mclaren, they had 3 of these there lol.

Glad to hear you like how the new RPF1 setup handles, I just got my self a set of old school Volks...17x9 all around as well (but a more aggressive offset)...can't wait to put them on.

Here is a couple pics of how the car currently is.
Here is a pic of my current setup. I love everything about it. The only thing I don't like is the Tubular manifold is kind of loud.
Also got a new street/strip clutch installed and IRP motor mounts. I tried to seal my Oil Pan again but it ended up leaking more. I believe my original pan is too bent out of shape so I ordered a new one.

Our build threads are eerily similar, I'd like to follow your lead some more! Haha
