As a self taught mechanic with a limited set of tools I do all the work in my cars but sometimes time gets away from me!

Example... I purchased a single turbo kit YEARS ago, have been slowly accumulating parts and junk but have yet to get into the conversion. I sometimes fear that I will make my car undrivable and left to age for too long a time so I just drive it with the twins and enjoy it...

So, how do you plan and manage the time and effort to work on your car and enjoy it in a reasonable time?
