Does anyone have any experience with XS Engineering's Single Turbo kit? Is it any good? What is the power potential? at 15 psi? 20 psi? Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Depending on the turbo you plan to choose, they offer lineup from standard T04E, or upgrade to T04S, or their own T04X.
Anywhere from 350-400+rwhp. Expect high 3's on pump gas street spec turbo size.

Their website is finally back up:

The kit looks really nice and I've heard good things about it. I was under the impression for some reason the turbo was from Turbonetics but they claim it's a Garrett, which is way nice. Between the Garrett and the cast manifold, I bet it's a turbo set up that will last a long time. Not to mention, Garretts are inexpensive to rebuild - hell, you can buy a brand new T04 for something like $850. I think a rebuild is only about $300.

XS use Garrett turbos. Nothing else except their DSM 16G killer turbo kit utilizing ball bearing IHI.
Turbonetics on most part utilize Garret parts too, but somehow they jacked up their price alot for some reason..

I'm seriously thinking about making my own single set-up. An XS T04S, cast manifold (HKS?, XS?), and an HKS wastegate (where can I get one?). I'll get a shop to custom-fabricate a downpipe and outlet pipe and oil lines. How much could I save if I put the "kit" together myself? Thanks!

What kind of turbo do they use for the Strip kit? How much hp can that make? It looks like a really good setup that spools quickly, but how high can you turn up the boost? The dyno run they show is only at 13psi which I think is very conservative for a single.
