Thxs for the hook up on the exhaust Jim. I'm very happy with the purchase.

I'll take that as a compliment 7 Rocket...

Just got back from Deal Gap Rotary Rally.

Perfect weather, was around great company and car did awesome.

The racing beat exhaust made the highway driving more enjoyable. Nice tone just cruising but sounds aggressive when you get on it. New pole positions s04 were smooth and quiet.

Last year i was on rx8 wheels with cheap tires that were 225/40s and the handled like crap. Car had lots of understeer and I didn't really trust it.

This year I was up there in the RPF1s with new tires and it made a huge difference. Car turned, slowed down and hammered through the turns. The recaros kept me nice and stable. Car did rub in some of the turn so I will have to figure out what I'm going to do there.

Had a blast with the car this wknd.

Just got rear mud guards and still waiting on the sakebomb headlights.

Still need to get a helmet for a track day in June.

That looks like the passenger side where it's rubbing. That's a very bad spot to rub because the front harness is directly behind the fender liner right at that spot. I have no idea why Mazda decided to run it there... I've rubbed thru a harness in that exact spot in a previous car.

The rubbing doesn't look severe, it's just in the worst spot possible. You may want to put some chaffing protection on the wires back there where it's rubbing.

25.5 is not a severe drop at all. What size tires you running up front?

pretty happy with this simple piece. I scuffed it, added a few layers of bed liner to cover up the imperfections and added a few layers of bumper paint and really happy with the outcome. Name: 20160422_181143_zpszgtvxi4j.jpg

^ thxs.

installed pettit column mount and mounted oil temp gauge. little disappointed in the pettit column mount. surprised it didn't come with any mounting tab.

started the same bomb install at 6am this morning, pretty strait fwd. tip- remove the entire housing then remove oem headlight. need to wait until night time to aim headlights.

also installed miata ebrake button.

^ thxs.

Was able to drive to the track (80 miles), burn 10 gallons of gas and drive the car back home.

Car did great.
- Koni yellow with ground control springs wasn't too soft
- 255/40/17 Bridgestone s4 pole postions provided the right level of grip for the dry and wet conditions
- my additional duct rx8 oil cooler kept temps below 200
- blitz FMIC kept coolant temps around 200
- Sparco seat kept me stable

No real complaints just need to continue to do these events and learn more.

The wife also enjoys track days.

Thxs.
17x9 +45 with 255/40 pile positions. Specs r weak and wished they were more aggressive but I got a good deal on them.

side skirts fits great and easy to mount. I hear the oem ones are a pain to mount. I like the one piece design.

just wished I removed the rock guard on the bottom of the car panel.

I wouldn't. I'd add an RE Amemiya Rear Diffuser before adding any type of wing.

Add an emblem & represent the family with pride !!

Wing wise

Wingless is a pretty clean look , if your not sure I would go with ZoomZoom advice , and a rear diffuser

But if you get a wing, I wouldn't go with anything else than OEM99 , anything else is too rice to me and the 93oem is sooo ugly.
