Thanks again Jarad.....the car is performing really well and Carter is about to get use to the extra power from the new motor. The new decals under the wing say it all.

Bubble Gum Crisis!

I love the new look. As Jeremy Clarkson might say, its giving me a "crisis".

Our next event will be the 4th of July in Arkansas. I will get some more pictures as soon as I get all the stickers on.

I am not sure I will be at anything local. I usually hone my skills at local events with the 125 shifter kart.

I never realized that this was online. Carter and Jim are two super nice guys, and just happen to have one of the baddest autocross cars on the planet.

See you guys at nationals.

The juxtaposition of 1BAMF with the pink dip is awesome

I always love watching SSM run at the big events. Bad thoughts

Pictures from Wilmington Ohio Tour. We finished 1st!

Results here: Page 11

I will be making a couple of changes to the car before Nationals. I bought a Dauntless racing wing and I am setting my KAAZ LSD to 60% in stead of the factory setting 100%. I will post a video of the LSD clutch change later. I was a little bored so I taped myself redoing it.

The pictures are from Perry Bennett he is an awesome photographer, Also his new web page is autoxpix.com. I want to order the prints for the trophy room.

Anyway.... Enjoy....

Man, I did not realize how boring the black was until seeing good photos of the car.

How do you like the .78 turbo? I am going to be running a .77 for my autox fd but a lot of people say it's going to fall flat on its face around 7k. Do you notice a considerable drop in power up top?

Yes, it drops off quickly but the low end power is what is needed at Autocross. How many times do you really rev out second in an autocross? If you do it is very brief and usually you will lift off the accelerator pedal to get through a fast section then squeeze it again. The benefits of the smaller turbo seem to work. I would like to step up to a little bit bigger exhaust housing to decrease the heat but I have not tried yet.

Here's our dyno chart for old vs new engines last Spring. Only major difference is a mild street port for the new engine built by DJSEVEN..The old engine is a Mazda reman.

The Pink is gone. This year it will be Chrome Wrap. The process has started but will take a while to complete, not easy.

That curve is wrong....will post corrected when we get a chance. Engine makes about 390 @20psi. HP is not our concern for autoX, we want the steep/early torque curve.
