Had the chance to be a passenger in the car. At 1.7bar(!) the car goes like a rocket. Amazing torque. This car misses nothing, from look to power it is great in every aspect!

I did replace the turbo last year with one of the EFR EWG series and oh boy i love the new setup at 30psi... made a new 3.5" downpipe but not much else really in there..
BUT! There are some interior updates. I will be Installing the Bathurst R carbon look Mazdaspeed interior pieces . fresh carpet, Get rid of the roll cage and for now go back to the OEM seats.

I have been wanting to simplify my interior without losing the function of my current setup

The Setup above consists of :

@speaker location gauge pod (Genuine , but slightly modded Mazdaspeed 3 gauge pod) :
60mm turbosmart boost control
dual EGT gauge
NGK AFX wideband gauge (hooked up to the NGK AFX itself)

@steering column
defi ZD displaying :
OIL/WATER TEMP
OIL press
fuel Press
EGT (yes 3rd EGT)
boost @ the gauge
shiftlight and warning light
TIME ()

and whatever the commander shows .

Its Nice, Its functional but I feel i am getting too old for this.

So i decided to simplify this setup and actually run a boost by gear setup properly because i cant use 30psi everywhere at the track.

I came across this boost control

which will display everything i need to see (2 egts , wideband fuel press and many others) Run boost by gear, boost by speed etc and the best part of all, since a few of my friends have been warning me about the safety features that the power fc is lacking, and i am not willing to change to a different ECU again, it comes with all the safety features. Great Success (Borat voice)

cleaning the interior is as i said before one of my main objectives so i got creative and designed something that should be useful
Rmagic style Commander holder that bolts on to the Din pocket

So this is a Din pocket that clips in. At somehow early stages of the design .
Din pocket includes
Plex Tuning flush mount
commander holder
Serial connector integrated for the datalogic.
Usb flange mount for phone charging

Prototype fits well. needs some minor adjustments but i should be able to finish everything in the next few days. I will be going back to Cyprus soon to wire this beauty and try it out

Very cool.. but looks like the Plex gets a lot of it's function from OBD II interface. How are you getting it to work with the PFC?
