1000rwhp or BUST! BRAAPPPP

So a little background of the car first.
I have had it since i was 17, i bought it for 5 grand from a guy in new mexico. It had a bad engine fire that destroyed all harnesses and vac lines and fuel lines. I spent any spare money i had buying new harnesses, fuel lines, etc. After about 6 months of replacing everything i got it to start, she ran .... not well but she ran. finally I decided to just buy a PFC to help diagnose the problem. To my surprise it actually fixed the problem and the car ran perfectly. I was amazed, I had a N/A FC before this car and it was like jumping into a Ferrari in comparison. It turns out my stock ECU had a bad barometric sensor in it.

Fast forward a little and i blow my first motor, I decided might as well learn how to build. So i sought information from many people and many companies that were more than willing to teach me to build and port. I built my motor with a large street port to start with. I was extremely happy with the outcome the car seemed to come alive.

After many bolt on mods and going single, I had the urge to go big or go home. I bridge ported the motor upped the fuel system even more, and threw on a GT45r for good measure. The car was amazing. I lived in texas and enjoyed the toll ways and wide long freeways to go cruise with.

fast forward to now......
I live in Minnesota out side of minneapolis.... the roads are... well poor, traffic is a mess, and the weather only allows for half the year of drive time. My car has been in the garage for the past 3.5 years.... only driven 4-5 times in that time. It developed a turbo oil leak in this time frame, this just made me want to drive it less and less. The winters are too cold to work on it in the garage and the summers i am to busy enjoying the weather as the car sits and collects dust .

My rotary heart started to beat again lol .... i got the bug to go fast. After talking with friends and fellow rotary peps i have decided my new lay out.

My list of upgrades:

S475 turbo with billet wheel
custom manifold
two tial waste gates (MVS)
changing all Vac lines to AN hard lines
Changing any oil/coolant lines to AN Hard lines
debating on hard piping radiator.
New IC piping
XS LIM with ID2000s x4
ID1000s x2 primaries
single 044 pump in tank stock location.
dual 044 pumps in a surge tank mounted remotely
new AN hard lines for all fuel.
AST/Filler neck modification.
install EDFC system on current coil overs
change from PFC to Adaptive 440 stand alone.
swap bride seats for fixed back seats with a smaller frame.
Repaint car ( already have paint and materials just have to wait for it to warm up a little)

possible mods have no decided yet:
multi clutch set up
new LSD
upgrade axles
change from Brembo BBK to more competitive system
upgrade oil coolers
swap out tan carpet to Black.
probably more that i am forgetting.

Looking good! Did you get a T4 or T6 housing? The T6 housing usually doesn't see full boost in 4th gear til around 5500rpms in my experience. I know you wanted a little less lag than your GT45R...

It's got the t6 I am debating changing it out for a t4

Also what's the ID of your manifold runners? I am about to start building this manifold and looking at the stainless pipe I have it looks like I can go another 1/8" in diameter but then I think I might be adding to much.... Lol

I am selling a bunch of stuff in classifieds right now so I will be buying some injectors and trigger from you soon!! Thanks again for all your help bud, you got a customer that will spread the name turblown everywhere!

Why are you using such thick material for the surge tank? I like the acorn table by the way!

Thanks guys! It's actually only 1/4" it looks a lot thicker... I am using 1/4" cause I have a lot of it and figure this is a good enough use as any for it. might even be making a few more if people are interested in it.

Thank! It's a custom color I mixed up to match with the satin black, however I am painting my car carbon black now(glossy) and will probably just black out the RPs

Nice job man... Did you by any chance buy that car on eBay? I remember a listing from NM that had front fire damage that I came really close to buying...

Damn, this thread is too funny. I grew up in Buffalo, my dad and many relatives are originally from the St. Michael area. Now I live in Phoenix, Arizona, drive a '93 CYM and I know Elliot (Turblown) 'cause he used to have a shop here in Phoenix on the NE side of the city. Small world huh? Nice FD BTW!

Best of luck with your upgrades!

Its been a while so I will have to double check when I am back from my trip, but I think they are 17x10.5 or 11 and +15 offset all around.

I'm looking for a special part..... I am building a bracket to make a direct fire set up for my ignition. So the coils will be mounted to the bracket and in line with the perspective plug. I need to find a double sided boot so to speak to go from plug to coil. Anyone have a lead on where I can find these?
