We have designed the Banzai Racing 13B-REW Low Profile Oil Pan Kit to allow installation of the 93+ Mazda RX-7 (FD3S) engine in the 04+ RX-8 Chassis. The oil pan uses the RX-8 oil level sending unit and retains the 13B-REW factory motor mount brackets.

The Oil Pan is Laser cut, then Press Brake formed, with TIG welded seams, then e-coated black. We have incorporated our 3/16" thick Oil Pan Brace into the design and include the stud kit and longer motor mount bolts. We also designed an aluminum Oil Pan Baffle to reduce oil foam and help keep the pickup tube submerged in oil during cornering.

Can also be used in any application where ground clearance is an issue.

Modified RX-8 oil pickup tube & O-ring
Oil Pan stud, nut and bolt kit.

will this oil pan and baffle raise the engine height?

 

This is designed for the RX-8 guys installing the FD engine. Our RX-8 REW installation Crossmember was specifically to accommodate this pan.

We already make an oil Pan brace for the FD OE pan.
