Holley Dynamat

Chris, have you
looked at using Holley's new Dynamat in the FD fuel tank to allow us to run safely with less than a quarter tank of fuel?

Pricing released. Anyone try this yet? What shape solution would work best in the FD tank?

States it is not compatible with oil, might be an issue if you premix.

At the low levels we premix with gas, I doubt it would be an issue.

From Holley

Due to the nature of the material that the hydramat is made out of, our testing has shown restriction issues when used with pre-mix oil/gas solutions. The gasoline has no problem passing through the media, but the oil is subject to a filtering effect. This can cause oil starvation issues.

If you have any further questions, please ask.

Thank you,

Keith Jessee

So your pre mix would be screened out and not make it to the motor, better bust out that OMP again if you want to run this...... bummer

This also would be interesting to know, for the shape of the tank which one would work best with the RX-7? As I also have no working knowledge of the factory pickup system in the rx7, what else would be required as far as plumbing to get this to be a compatible solution with what we currently use?
