Unhappy XxmerlinxX..........wtf??

He recieved my money via paypal on Jan 9th for a 13brew core($450). Since that time he claims he is unable to ship me the motor since he cannot find a freight company that will handle the weight.

He has not responded to any of my pm's since Saturday, at which time he said he was still looking for a suitable shipping company. I can understand if this is the case, but he(Porter) needs to let me know what is going on.

I have sent him numerous pm's telling him to simply refund my money and he of course does not respond. I am very patient, but this is starting to **** me off.

I know he has been on here, just deciding to keep me in the dark.
So right now I'm out a good chunk of change with nothing to show for it, and not even a hint of contact from the seller.

I would love for you to respond to this Porter, and once again.........refund my money or ship me a motor. It really isn't that hard.

If this is a core, all you have to do it tear it apart and send it in pieces.

how long ago did you purchase the item? Just a question though...How come you didn't see if he had a suitable shipping company before you sent the money...

I don't think that should've been his concern. If the item was listed for sale, the seller should've had arrangements made for shipping. Otherwise, it should've never been listed for sale. Simple as that.

Easy problem to solve for the seller. Go to wal-mart and ask the 95 yr old man down at the entrance by teh lawn care products if you can have one of the empty pallets. He will say yes, go in the store and buy about 4 ratcheting straps. Strap engine to pallet securely and call truck freight company. I use gorlc.com. If you cant take the engine to them they will come pick it up. Problem solved.

A PM that you started this thread would've been nice, thanks to Sprockett for the heads up.

As far as not responding, I sent you a PM yesterday, but going back and looking in my sent box, it's not there. I don't know what that's about. Anyway, it's been hard for me to get this shipped out as the engine is in Greenville at Greg's place, an hour away from me. Granted that's no excuse, but once I got over to Greenville and had everything arranged and put on a pallet, I was going to have DHL ship this out. After picking up the core and shipping it to their hub, they then inform me that it's too heavy and they'll be dropping it back off. I argued with them for a while that if it was too heavy, why was it picked up in the first place, but it didn't matter and they dropped it back off anyway. I then get in touch with their freight department, but they won't pickup from a residential address. I then mentioned to the buyer that I was going to break up the core so that I could make 2 shipments, but he said no, that he wanted a whole core because he's teaching his girl about rotaries. So now I'm trying to find a freight company that will pick up from a residential address and that's basically where we're at now.

I admit this has taken a lot longer than it should have, but you'll get your engine, one way or another. Beyond that, I don't know what to tell you.

Trying to figure out why it is so hard to take it to the freight company. Why must they come pick it up from you?

Beyond that, you could at least respond to my pm's so I don't get the "I'm getting scammed" feeling in my gut.

Once again, if it is too much trouble, all you have to do is send me my money back. At this point I really don't care.

I can't take it anywhere because my 7 is my only vehicle. I used DHL initially because they actually come to your location and pick it up for you. Greg has a utility van that he uses to haul stuff around with, but I'm not sure that it's running at the moment. If it is, when I talked to him yesterday he was still out on a job, so it still wouldn't be here. If the van IS running, we can take it to his warehouse and have someone pick it up there and label it as a business address.

Yeap, since I have sooooo much bad feedback on here and Ebay

I agree with str8ryd though. You should've done more research about shipping an engine so this wouldn't have gotten to this point. None of us like to feel like we're getting ripped off.

Just a question... how is you only having the Rx7 his problem? If he paid you send him his **** or refund his money, it's really as simple as that.

ONCE AGAIN, just refund my money and you won't have to worry about it.

Remember how I went out of my way to send you money TWICE? If i'd of known it would take a month for you to even ship it, I wouldn't of bothered.

You contacted me first about the block for sale. That generally means it is ready to ship. Sounds like you BARELY have a plan on how to get it to me. So for a 5th time, refund the money and forget about shipping it.

Still waiting on some sort of SOLID resolution.

thanks
travis
