ONCE AGAIN, just refund my money and you won't have to worry about it.
Remember how I went out of my way to send you money TWICE? If i'd of known it would take a month for you to even ship it, I wouldn't of bothered.
You contacted me first about the block for sale. That generally means it is ready to ship. Sounds like you BARELY have a plan on how to get it to me. So for a 5th time, refund the money and forget about shipping it.
Still waiting on some sort of SOLID resolution.
thanks
travis

What the **** are you talking about? In all of this thread, did you see anything at all where I stated I wasn't going to ship the man his part??? No, you didn't. Did I or did I not JUST say that I was going to contact Ray Crowe about shipping arrangements? I believe I did. So yes, I'll continue to be a smartass, and you can continue to be some stupid schmuck who can't read.
It is people like you that make this community **** for buying and selling parts. Who the hell wants to wait a month for some stuff they bought?
Obviously your the "Schmuck" that can't read. All that **** you talked about Gonzz and you do this to one of your buyers.. wow!
I'm willing to bet that you won't refund him his money because you already spent it. Although you didn't have time to read proper ways of shipping items you're selling, I'm sure you didn't have a problem finding the time to spend someone elses money. Way to go! We should all look up to you and the way you deal with transactions!
Since your so hard up for yourself, the above comment was sarcasm

OK, this **** stops NOW
You guys wanna kick each other in the *****? Go do it somewhere else and stop messing up this buyer's feedback thread. He posted this to get a resolution to a problem, not to see you guys throw back and forth like some wannabe badasses all damn day long.
Frank--with all due respect, you need to knock it off. First, you dont even have yoru facts right--he didnt lag a month. He shipped it, and the shipping company screwed that up. And while I still dont know why nothing has been done since then, stop bitching about something that didnt even take place. You arent helping anyone with that.
rearview--you havent been here long enough to tell anyone what ruins this community. Please, leave that to people who have actually dealt with enough **** to know the difference. I honestly dont think that this seller has taken care of business, but you dont have any idea what youre talking about to make such a comment. And all that does is add to the **** and make this thread less productive for the buyer. This is his thread, stop shitting in it.
merlin--so, DHL sent it back. OK, why didnt something get done sooner? You have a community at your fingertips that has seen hundreds, if not thousands, of engines and cores sold and shipped--why the hell wouldnt you hop on here and ask for shipping companies people have used? You had obvious answers to the problem right in front of you and you chose not to handle it. That doesnt fly. How many members here could have told you who they used in the past? Your problem would have been solved with one thread....or even, one PM if you know someone that has sold engines!
There needs to be a plan in place in the next two days to get this engine where it needs to go. I dont care what it is, as long as you and your buyer agree on it and it's legit. And then, once there's a plan, it needs to happen, and not a month from now. Despite what some people say about you merlin, you have a good rep as a seller here....time to show everyone that the reputation isnt bullshit.
As for the bullshit in this thread, everyone needs to leave it the hell out. We dont need more jr high school drama, we need surfmon to get what he paid for or his money back. Come on guys, dont **** it up for surfmon in his thread.

You lagged for almost a month to ship him his block, it's STILL not sent out and you're going to refuse to refund him his money?
Yes, that's precisely what has happened. Your attention to detail astounds me.
It is people like you that make this community **** for buying and selling parts. Who the hell wants to wait a month for some stuff they bought?
And here I thought the bad guys were the ones who didn't send the parts at all? My mistake. Maybe I should just hold onto it then instead, would that make me an ok guy? Or better yet, I'll follow your boyfriend Gonzz's lead and gouge the housings before I ship'em.
Obviously your the "Schmuck" that can't read. All that **** you talked about Gonzz and you do this to one of your buyers.. wow! Yes, because again, this is obviously very similar. He sends out part after part that is trash, all the while blaming it on his friend, or the buyer, or the man in the moon.
I'm willing to bet that you won't refund him his money because you already spent it. Although you didn't have time to read proper ways of shipping items you're selling, I'm sure you didn't have a problem finding the time to spend someone elses money. Way to go! Again, you nailed it right on the head. I have an insanely large problem with gambling. Instead of trying to get the block shipped, we actually used it as a card table to play poker on. The money's all gone and I'm obviously trying to hide the fact, in hopes that this will all just go away.

Oh yes, you went SO out of your way having to paypal it to a different email address, I'm sure that was very hard on you. The block WAS ready to ship. In fact it was already on it's way when DHL figured it was too heavy and decided to drop it back off without contacting me. And as for you "demanding" a refund, please show me 1 PM where you demanded a refund? The closest you ever got was, "Once again, if it is too much of a pain to ship, then I'll gladly take a refund." So guess what, you're getting your god damn block, whether you want it or not. If you want to file a paypal claim, be my guest, as I'll have a tracking number ready by then and it won't matter. And if you're hoping to pull the, "Well I'll never buy anything from you again." card, please, don't bother, I wouldn't offer anything to you in the first place.

I can read you dickwad. It reads that you're no better than a scamming *******. You get paid and make up excuses not to ship. But I digress, karma will sort people like you out in the end.

If you keep it up I will see to it that one of our mods pays you a visit. STOP SHITTING IN THIS THREAD.
You dont even know the history of this board, this seller's reputation, or what a scammer even is, based on your statement above. There are times when your post would have been appropriate. This isnt one of them. Yes, he screwed up. But he already posted about how he is gonna fix it. So, either get yourself a clue or excuse yourself from this thread. This section is for the purpose of informing others about buyers and sellers, and to try to resolve situations just like this. It is NOT for you to act like a moron because you cannot read the posts or dont know how things work around here. Of course, if you would rather get banned, we can try that out too. I would prefer for you to stop acting like an idiot while you complain about someone else acting like that at the same time.
Seller made a good faith attempt to ship. Shipping company screwed that up. Seller has since come forward and sais he is calling one of the shippers that someone recommended. Let this play out before you think you know enough to make the comments you have made. I dont think thats too much to ask.

Right now, as we speak, I'm trying to find a shipping solution to this. Greg said he can fit the engine and pallet in the trunk of his wife's car and take it to the warehouse down the road so that we can ship it from a business address. Now I'm just trying to find a LTL freight company I can register with. UPS does LTL, but you have to be an actual business. I was originally told that DHL does freight, but I can't find anything about it on their website. Right now I'm checking Fedex to see what I need to do.

Seriously, I don't buy that with trying to ship it with DHL.. You should know common sense you can't send an entire engine in a package with DHL package, and even if you had doubts, that type of information is easily found on there website.
Anyways, Roller is right, just focus on the subject on hand. Fedex does do freight shipping and I believe they'll pick up the item as well. If worst comes to worst, spend the extra 25 dollars and rent a u-haul truck to take the engine down to the nearest warehouse.

Hey genius, you were told this about 20 posts up by djseven. www.gorlc.com. No account needed, cheapest non-commercial rates around.
Classy...

So then why would I schedule the pick up? Why would I have it charged to my account? In fact that tracking number is still active. But I suppose it was all just a cover to steal his $450.

The issue to deal with here is getting the member his engine or refund.
The rest of the bickering crap stops now. Next one that comes in here and starts putting flame on the fire is not going to like the results of their actions. :-)
Now it's XxMerlin's time to make this right. I don't want to see anyone else in here right now except him and surfmon.
Thank you,
Doc.

UPDATE: As of the opening of this thread, Merlin has become even more difficult to work with. He has not responded to ANYTHING I have sent him and has refused to supply a tracking number or a refund. Very businesslike............
He recieved my money on Jan 9th.
This is by far the worst transaction I have ever had.
Buyers beware of this guy..........
Working with the Mods to get some sort of resolution
Porter, you still have a chance to make it right.....
It's not that hard

I'm the one that pulled Porter's motor. Everything he's said about the block is true. DHL did pick it up a while back, then brought it back a day or two later.
I don't know why that's such an issue for him as I've shipped short blocks via UPS before. They have a 160lb limit, and according to DHL, the shortblock is 210lbs, so we didn't even try them.
I know it's been an issue for him since he has been without his car and I live almost an hour north of him. I've been doing what I can to help him out with this, but haven't been able to do much as I travel alot for work. The only other person at my house is my wife and she's 6 months pregnant, so she's not much help either. All of my neighbors are retired and then some. The 3 closest ones are 70s, 80s, and probably 90s... he's in bad shape.
Anyway, I'm sure you'll get your block bro.... he doesn't have a use for it anymore.

"why it's such an issue for them"
Porter, like I told you today, Wendy and my mom are in the process of moving my office to the other side of the damn house to make a room for the baby. I should be able to print out whatever you send me, given they get the computers and **** hooked back up timely.

I assumed that meant let me know when you have a tracking # or when you're going to refund me. Since neither have happened, I have not updated you. Provided Greg can print out a label for it and take it to the warehouse for me, it will be picked up this week and then I'll update you through PM.
