Payed for parts a month ago. No parts, returned emails or returned PM's . Be aware. I know some have received some things. Alot of us have not.

 

It would be better if you would give more info concerning this transaction such as the following.
1). When exactly did you pay for the items in question?
2). Did you request a tracking number?
3). Did you ask when the parts were going to be shipped out?
4). Do you have a link to the FS thread?

 

This is the first time in over 100 transactions that i have had a problem so I guess am following good business ethics. I have been in contact w/ three other members that have not been able to get returned replies from this lazy *** or probably scammer. If there were some kind of innocent delay ie. in hospital or dead there should be someone to reply to business e-mails to give an update on the purchase. Enough said. G

It does not matter how many good transactions you have had.
The questions that I have asked you are ones that will help to eliminate alot of these problems that are occuring. Refeering to #2 and #3. Assuming that all members will ship you your parts in a timely manner or even at all is just that, An assumption.
When so called scammers or lazy sellers are asked these questions they know that they are going to be followed up on in a timely manner. They don't want to answer any types of these questions.

I did not ask these questions to put you on the spot but to get a feel of what is going on here. They are vital questions for me to investigate and take action towards these type of members.

 

Well, I guess I should chime in here since I am also having an issue with this seller. I was hesitant about posting about it because I am the type of guy who will give someone the benefit of the doubt… but given the fact that it has just been so long I am left with very little recourse.

I know some people have received their parts but to be honest that doesn’t mean anything to me and I am not willing to wait any longer to "see" if I am getting the parts or not. It is my firm belief that a seller has certain obligations and one of them is to keep the buyer informed and not sitting in the dark wondering if he/she will get the parts they paid for with their hard earned money. topspeed 7 was actually very good to deal with and sent me detailed pictures and went out of his way when I was intersted in buying so I am actually a little surprised that I am having issues with him now. So with that said here are the facts so far…

I, as I am sure G's 3rd Gen did, asked for a tracking number as soon as he shipped the items. I have yet to receive the tracking number let alone the parts and it has been one month. I made the payment on the 19th of Sept and was told it would ship out that week. He did not ship it out that week so I was then told it would ship out on 26th. I have contacted the seller on multiple occasions since then and have not heard back regarding shipping the item. The dates of these messages are as follows:

I asked if that meant the item has shipped or if he is shipping it that night. He did not get back to me and I have not heard back from him since. I left him several PMs and emails including ones warning him that I will make a paypal claim if I do not hear back from him. I have not heard back and I have therfore put in a complaint with paypal.

I still have hope that I will see the items I paid for and will retract the paypal claim if I do but it goes without saying that I am not happy with the seller given he has not made an effort that I expect from a seller. So potential buyers from topspeed7 can take what I have written above however which way they want and they can make the choice if they wish to do business with him or not.

 

Just as a posted this message I received a PM from topspeed7 telling me the items were shipped almost 2 weeks ago. I will be sure to update this thread with any news. I think it is important to not assume someone is guilty of fraud until it is proven. That's why I only stated the facts above and really hope I can update this thread with good news about topspeed7. If his worst crime is to be slow in shipping and never online that is much less of an issue than being a scammer but it is still an issue non the less.

EDIT: I just got another PM from topspeed7 and he was able to find the tracking number (he thought he lost it). I went on the USPS website and it looks like everything checks out. So my only issue with topspeed7 is that he did not send me the tracking number or keep in touch but there could be a very good reason why he was not able to be online

Thanks for chiming. At least he has contacted you. I have not heard from him once since sending the payment. And yes all of your questions were done and beyond.
I have had my front end off for 2 weeks now waiting for the parts to complete my project. It figures. Dont assume your going to get a part even if you have had perfect luck in the past. G

 

first of all i am no kind of scammer in fact i gave every one prices that they will not find anywhere else just because i dont care to make big money of this stuff, and i actually have alot of work to do i just love rx7 and everyone that is involved with them, i also have gave away stuff just at the expence of shipping. having said that i will also say that i hate and condem scammers and thats why i feel so bad this had to happen,

no for what u really want to hear, first the very same day i sold the stuff which was everyone that hasnt recived their stuff, i had trouble with my rx8 and had to drive 200 miles to the nearest dealer to get it fixed, returned too late to do anythin, next day they call me back saying they had it ready so i drive again to pickup my car and turns out it wasnt ready so i drive back and by this time is saturday night, sunday usps is not open, monday i had a family death tuesday another death and so u guys know what that does to your time, then i tried to log in to the website but it was underconstruction, i broke my laptop finally got a new one and by the time this happend it was now, the stuff i did send was the stuff that was ready because i actually packed it the very same day i sold it
i belive the only one that has not recived the stuff was the guy who bought the oil cooler because it was still in the car, and also the guy that bought the stock manifold because he had to send a money order. i think every one else got there stuff and i did promise to return money if the stuff was not as promised.

so before u guys go and hate me please understand that god not always has things planned as we do and im sorry for this, i have never been it this section
and i would appreciate if the people that got their stuff to post it

He wanted to me to close the dispute and send him more $$ just cover shipping. Once you close a dispute. The money sent is gone and at the grace of the seller. I am now waiting for a refund or tracking # . G

 

no no no no no i did not ask for more money i said that all u would pay was shipping and i would refund the difference of what u paid, im sorry if i was not clear, i would never ask for more money. and as for the dispute im sorry but i didnt know that if u close it you would be screwed all i wanted is for it to not go any further. sorry for all the confusion.

 

I cannot close the dispute until you refund the original payment. I will then immediately make a new payment about the amount we discussed. Once a dispute is closed the original payment is out of the buyer's leverage. G

 

i would gladly do the refund exept ntimd8 has an open dispute and it froze the account, i have gave this member the tracking number were it states the item was shipped the 4th of this month, but he wont retract it until he recives the item, hopefully he will recive it today and then ill do your refund.
