Thumbs down oorx7 owes me money for an alternator

I sold my Alternator for the price of $40 + shipping. oorx7 wanted to have it sent to him OVERNIGHT so he sent me $70 total. So I went to USPS and they quoted me $47 to ship it overnight. I shipped it out because I figured he would need it.

So he received it and said it works great and told me he would pay me the $17 since I paid $17 more for overnight shipping. 3 weeks later, I pmed him and he said he would Paypal me the money that night but he never did. So 2 weeks later, I pmed him and NO RESPONSE. I hope he pays up, otherwise because $23 for an alternator is a killer price considering that alternators go for $70+ easily without shipping.

I even scanned the receipt and sent it to him and he was impressed by my professionalism but where is his??

UM I know 00rx7 personally and NO WAY in hell would he screw you over for $17. This is probably ALL just a misunderstanding.

Seriously? You want to slam someones rep on the forums over $17 from a higher than expected shipping quote?

He is not at fault here, I am.

I have been away from the club for a few days. I understand his frustration, and there is no excuses for my negligence over $17. I have had a few problems since our first transaction that I really would not like to discuss, lets just say I have been thinking about fixing these problems by selling my FD.

I actually sent the money this morning before even reading this. I even put a little extra on it to cover any fees that have occurred by using paypal. If only I would've sent it sooner to avoid a bad thread in this section.

Again he has been overly patient with me, I can only apologize for not fallowing through with our transaction.

Thanks, Riz. I would like to keep this open until RISEN at least responds. Hopefully this will turn into a positive thread shortly.

I am in no way trying to cheat any one on this forum. In fact I will be selling quite a few parts on here shortly. This will include parts that I make personally and used parts from my FD's. I am going to be selling the parts that I make under FDNewbie imports at first. I have quite a few friends on here that will vouch for me if needed.

I just received the money from Brandon. He sent me $25, $8 extra so I take back what I said. I was just frustrated because it's been about a month and I didn't hear back from him since then. Anyways, moderator can delete this thread

Thats not exactly what this section is for. No threads like this should ever be deleted. Sure, its unfortunate that Brandon couldn't resolve the issue before this thread was created. But threads like these need to stay so that people can see that Brandon made a mistake or ran into issues\whatever(**** happens, people understand that, it can happen to anyone) and he is a stand up guy and has handled the situation appropriately. Otherwise the purpose of this whole section is defeated by deleting threads, even if they wind up with a good outcome. Once that happens the thread should be closed, not deleted.

If anything this thread makes me feel more confident to do business with Brandon since I know he will return my money back if something goes wrong, even if it is only $17.

I agree 100% with this statement. In fact I would rather leave it open.
