Sorry, I havent been reading up on this thread recently. Did you contact paypal at all? If he won't give you the money back, TAKE IT! If you link your paypal to a credit card you can get even more help that way as well.

 

Could be an earlier revision or something. Check out the installation video on an FD from the mazdatrix site. Very hard to tell but the one they install in the video does look like the one sold to linenoise, not the one pictured by sprockett with the 79-92 engraving.

Why?! YOU advertised the shifter as used for 3 months and nothing more. YOU failed to tell the buyer that the shifter was hacked! YOU are in the wrong! Find me one reputable company that would tell their customer to just go resell something that they sold to a customer after advertising it to be something it is not. YOU won't!

Do the right thing, refund this guy his money and take your **** back. This isn't rocket science, this is just common sense. The longer you let this drag out the more you are dragging your name through the mud. Since you've let this drag on for almost 2 months there may not be much of your name worth salvaging after this. Good luck with future sales on this forum!

 

I tried the paypal route, and they were no help at all. If the item wasn't sold on ebay and the seller sent you something, even if it is materially wrong, they won't help.

Its either another rotorboy deal where he uses funds from scamming people for ongoing/future projects or he is really broke (maybe thats why he's selling his fd/or has sold his beautiful FD).

Either way, the only way was to have him banned and we shouldnt have transactions like this on this forum, it only makes buying/selling here even more hard.

It certainly is since he has only 1 hour left to take care of this before I issue a permanent ban for this-

If you are found to be ripping anyone off you will be put on the 'good guy/bad guy' section by the buyer and be banned.

He sold a misrepresented part and refused to give the member a refund.

 

He had over 2 months to do the right thing and failed to do so. He has been permanently banned.

 

Lime speak to your credit card company not paypal.

 

this still suck big times. I think it's safe to say that he wlil not make this right.

 

It's really a shame to hear because I bought my HKS Hi Power off of him and i have no complaints.

 

He activated an old user name as seen here and I have banned that name as well.
