Well.... seems andrew is a bit of a scammer...

gave me a huge run a round as to why my parts havent been sent and then a story about going into the hospital for a surgery. So i started doing some internet searching to see if i could come up with his home number. This is what i found with a couple google searches... He gave this guy the same run arround and BS storries as he was feeding me. Now he wont answer the phone or return any of my emails.


So, it turns out Andrew has been giving the same song and dance to someone else about a year ago... this is the post i found. apearantly Andrew spends alot of time in the hospital.

now if he is Seriously ill, all i ask is for a honest true responce to whats happening with my money and or parts. here is the post from an Audi forum...

So I purchased an eboost2 off this guy last year... around summer time. Me being the nice guy i am gave the guy awhile to get everything sent out to me, waited... waited... every once in awhile i would get ahold of him and remind him.

he told me his shop workers were supposed to ship it out, they never did. SO he said he was going to take care of it.

I gave it some more time. He would respond when i would message him saying that he had it and was sorry for the inconvenience, he seemed like a nice guy. He said he was going to include some extra parts to make up for me wait.

I kept on saying "no rush, i'm patient and don't need it right now"

He was in a bad car accident with his nissan gtr and was hospitalized in december, so i gave him the benefit of the doubt on that one. talked to his g/f and she said she would see if she could help.


well, i haven't heard from him in almost a month now, i've shot him a couple text messages. and haven't heard back, so i'm starting to get a little annoyed. SO i'm coming to you guys.

what i know about him is that his name is Andrew Reston and he lives in Brampton Ontario, he owns a shop of some sort, he used to own a red 2010 gtr i believe it was with volks on it. He was t-boned so that cars gone, not sure what he drives now.

Is anyone in that area that could help me out? Or anyone who may know him? i have his cell number if someone wants to try giving him a call to set up a pick up then i'll pay you to ship it to me.


some of you may know my s/n from motorgeek/vwvortex/audiforums/ or other audi/vw forums, i've just been directed here for my problem by another geeker.

Well i guess he has his cover story good because he uses it often. or maybe he is accident prone. I dont like smearing someones reputation so please, if you know Andrew and can resovle this, i would love for this to end.

IF ANYONE KNOWS THIS GUY PERSONALLY PLEASE CONTACT ME. I WILL OFFER A SMALL REWARD TO SOMEONE WHO CAN ACCTUALLY GET ANDREW ON THE PHONE.

Looks like Andrew left the building, he deactivated his Facebook account.....not looking good

 

Ya, and by what is on his facebook he doesn't appear to be held up in a hospital.... So again, if anyone knows Andrew I wil offer up a reward for results.

 

That sucks. I hate when things happen this way. Hope it works out for you. Never met this guy but seen a few post from him. He was going to attend some of the local Time Attacks around here. Maybe one day I will bump into him...

 

Last time i seen him on Facebook he was posting pictures of himself racing around on a new dirt bike he just bought.....go figure, hope it works out for ya

There is a Canadian forum member who's name on the forum is Andrew. This is not the same guy right? This Andrew seemed like a good guy when he bought my kg fuel setup.

 

Err, I hate to see when this happens. Especially when the scammer is close by to me... However, I don't know this for sure but why not try reverse looking the numbers?

 

Great idea. Cause once I have his adress I can hop on a plane and go get my parts. I know where he lives, I have his phone numbers. I live 3500 Kms away from him. That's why I'm asking the forum members if anyone will speak up and tell him to send me my parts. Any legal solution will cost more than I've already lost and wil still not garentees I will get my money back. So, I wil keep trying for awhile. If I fail to get my parts at least ll of you will know not to deal win this guy !

 

should make an example of him, take some Hd video knocking on his door asking for your parts

 

He just messaged me saying it was shipped saturday

 

fourkruzn said they were shipped? If not why didn't Andrew post it either on this thread or pm fourkruzn personally
Sorry for kinda getting involved, the seller lives pretty close by and just wanted to know the situation.

 

I have to say I really don't quite get what your trying to say here. I have not received any parts that I paid for and I have no confirmation that anything has been shipped. If you know Andrew and were willing to run over to his place and see what's up, I would really apreciate an update.
