I sent him a US Postal Money Order about 2 weeks or more ago and nothing. Doesnt reply to me on aim or no tracking number. Either tell me where my turbo is or refund me my money. I hate when this **** happens.

I thought he was banned also. His normal screenname hasn't been on since late september, any info on where you saw the ad that prompted you to buy it? Its possible hes running around here on another account screwing people over again.

That was on 11 September. Please post the details of this transaction, more specifically, please post up how this even came to happen on here, since he was banned months back. Was this a forum transaction? His profile shows that he hasnt been on under "gonzz" since 24 September....

I would always talk to him online for hours, I asked if he had a s4 turbo laying around and he said yes for $100 shipped. He sent me pics and I saw the turbo. I didnt have enough in my paypal so I sent him a $90 Us postal money order, then I paypaled him the rest of the $10. He got all of the money, then I kept asking and he would say that the holidays fucked up the shipping but I dont buy that. Heres hes paypal information "goncalves6@***.net and hes name is Steve Goncalves" He kept saying he has a 20b in hes vert, im not sure but maybe somebody can help me out with this ****. thanks

Here you go bud. Steve sent me an email your turbo is in ups hands you should have it. Yes he said the holidays were slowing things a tad and thats ground shipping for you. I wont get into the rest but I trust Steves word and he has never lied to me. So keep me posted on what happens and try getting in contact wtih him again. He knows you talked to me.

Glad you were able to lend a hand on this iceblue, hope everything works out for you gxl87turbo. Its amazing how keeping in contact and/or providing a tracking number in the least could have avoided having to make a post and getting others involved just to get an update.

iceblue--please dont take this as me doubting your word, but could you maybe ask him about a tracking #?

I only ask for one reason--in a previous situation, a buyer had posted that he received unusable, broken parts from gonzz. Gonzz denied it, and declared that the pieces he sent this buyer were painted blue to match his car. So we dug up the pictures of the actual items for sale from gonzz's FS thread and they were black, not painted blue as he claimed. In fact, closer examination of the pictures showed some slight blue overspray in the exact same places as the pics the buyer provided of broken parts. In the end, they were the same pieces and gonzz was dishonest, claiming otherwise to try to get out of paying him back. I can appreciate that gonzz never lied to you, and I respect that, but he has been caught lying to the forum before.

One more thing--thanks for your help. If more people were willing to help like you have here, we would have a lot less issues like this going on. Thanks!

Sure I will put a call into him again and see what I get. Over the past few years he has dealt me a fair hand. I am truly sorry if others have not. I even got involved in third party parts being forwarded to friends Dave Gibson being one of them from Gonzz and the part being bad. Out of personal honor he paid us back sight unseen out of his pocket. I told GXL I would get involved for him because I felt we have had a good relationship thus far.

I am leaving right now back home for a funeral for my best friends dad. If I am few hrs or day late on my update my apology's. I will put the call in now for the #

This shouldn't be a hard problem to solve. If he shipped it by UPS, a tracking # has already been issued for it like they do with ALL of their shipments, it on the receipt. No need to go up there and demand to know where the package is, just use the tracking # that was provided.

Who would have that on them when there out of town. Cmon use comon sense dude. I even throw the paper with the tracking number away.

I think he was refering to when he gets back in town how it seems it would be easier to do a track then storm into ups raising hell. On another note as stated above had gonz used that tracking number when he shipped it so the buyer knew what was going on, none of this would have happened in the first place.

I never said anything about him having it on him, but like Fikren said, it'd be easier to send the number to the buyer than having to physically go up to the store. As far as common sense goes, I don't throw away any shipping receipts until long after the buyer has received their items, that's your only proof that it was shipped in the first place.

So I got the turbo today, I opened up the package and theres the s4 turbo I bought. He told me it was in good usable condition with no play. I know for a turbo that old a little play is ok. Well this ******* turbo has in and out play like no other, I cant believe this. The turbo is junk period. Second off he receieved the money around 12/13/2007. He told me he shipped it 2 days later, well get this. On the DHL invoice it states that the package was shipped out on 1/7/2008, that was 4 days ago. First he lied about the shipment date, and then I get a junk turbo. Now I cant drive my car for at least another 2 weeks untill I find a turbo. So I suggest I either get my money back, or you find me another "good" turbo and send it. Ive never cheated or lied to anybody about the parts I sell on this forum, check my feedback. Im not saying anything bad about Gonzz, I just want him to fix this mess. I thank roller and iceblue for trying to help me out.

I would talk bad about him, this isn't the first time the product people got were not what was described and also not the first time someone got something from him that ended up being unusable junk. He probley wouldn't have even gotten it mailed out on the 7th had iceblue not contacted him about it. You'll also find from other peoples bad experiances with him its gonna be hard to get any type of worthwhile refund out of him.

There is a reason hes banned from these boards.

Thats a thread where he sold a turbo to someone else last year. Gonzz described the turbo as having just been rebuilt by Greddy less than a thousand miles before he sold it. It turned out to be junk. Later he claimed that he was lied to by the friend that owned the turbo. He charged over 2500 for the kit, and the buyer ended up losing $500 due to this mess.

You can clearly see that those are black in the pics. In fact, if you look closely enough, you can see some slight blue overspray from when he painted his engine bay, but the parts themselves are not painted.

Here's why that matters--when the buyer provided pictures of these assemblies to show how they were broken when he received them, gonzz called the buyer a liar. Gonzz insisted this:

He advertised, and posted pics of, black assemblies in his FS thread. He sold black assemblies. When he is confronted with how he sent broken assemblies, he then claims that the ones he really sold and sent were painted a one-of-a-kind blue, and not black like he himself advertised. Nevermind the fact that his own previous posts show his error, he insisted right up to the minute he was banned that this buyer was lying and trying to scam HIM. He went on in that thread to say countless times comments like "I bet he's trying to mix up the right color paint to make those look like the ones I sold him".

And now, he sells you something that isnt what he claimed it was.

I hate to say this, but this guy isnt gonna handle this. He has yet to handle these problems appropriately, and will even lie out his *** long after he knows he's been caught lying. Anything, it would seem, as long as he believes he can get out of taking care of business.

this DEFINATELY isnt the first time he has burned someone. hell, there was a 10 page thing about what went on between him and i. for some reason though it mysteriously got deleted. i wish you the best of luck with getting a refund, youll need it.
