FD s14 Not happy w/ me

Buyer sends 275 payment for greddy elbow and cold side intake pipe w/ tial BOV

Seller sends parts UPS ground

Approx 25 days later the buyer says he didn't receive the elbow

Seller does a lot of business and can't remember for sure but remembers handling it before boxing etc... so is skeptical of buyers story especially at this late date.

Seller looks for elbow and can't find it but still refunds the buyer 75

Buyer then post negative feedback on the seller which is the first negative feedback in the sellers 10 year history.

YOU DO THE MATH!

I appreciate you refunding the money, but it was still a negative experience. You said you didn't have photos of the items and i trusted you. You didn't send the greddy elbow and said you looked high and low and couldnt find it laying around. Which sounds quite skeptical to me.

The ups tracking number is 1Z2904720394532836 and it says the weight was 5lbs. Bov plus piping and a greddy elbow= 5lbs?

I don't mind you leaving negative feedback but please when you find the elbow or remember what you did with it can you please post it here.

Interesting you mention the weight which was my estimate and the box wasn't actually weighed but sometimes UPS does weigh the boxes and if this boxed was weighed I'll post whatever the actual weight was when I get my UPS bill and I'll also post if the greddy elbow does or doesn't show up.

I'll repeat; 25 days or more after I ship something the buyer says he didn't receive a part that I'm 99% sure I shipped and after giving you the benefit of the doubt and refunding you, you have the nerve to leave ME negative feedback. You're damn right you're getting negative feedback after that

fritz is one of the very best sellers and buyers i have dealt with...
Also very precise with his work. Im not infeering that the buyer is trying pull a scam but theres something missing from the story.

Besides, he offered you the 75$ as a refund for the elbow. If you are asking me that was way too nice of him to do to give him a -ve feedback.

Nick, you're off to a pretty sorry start in this community...... I'd suggest handling your business a bit differently in the future.

I'd be skeptical as well after waiting 25 days to report something missing. If I get a package that I know is parts for the car that I ordered, I rip into the box when I get it to see the nice new shiny parts...so I'd wonder like Fritz about the delay in telling him something like elbow was missing. Just be quicker contacting the seller if something is missing next time Nick and good job refunding the money Fritz, something I'd expect a nice guy like him to do.

I also agree with fritz.

I have dealt with fritz a good number of times and each time was pleasant. Very fast shipping, packed well etc etc.

Nick, im sorry but you're in the wrong here.

LETS JUST SAY, you really never got the elbow, why wait 25 days to do something?

When i order something, i write it down and im on top of it because its something i ordered, meaning its something i want/need. I make sure the UPS guy can leave the package for me if im not home or i can have a neighbor sign for me because i need/want that item.

Dont wait 25 days to report a missing piece. It shows your irresponsibility as well as your poor attempt in trying to get something for free.

Hi Nick--

Allow me to step in here for a minute or three. I am having a little difficulty understanding what is going on here. Let's see if we can clear things up a bit.

1--you send money to this guy for the parts.
2--He receives the money, and ships out your parts(we'll get to how I know he did this in a minute).
3--25 days later, you claim you have not gotten anything.
4--seller cannot find the parts on his end, and is pretty sure that he sent them, but refunds you $75 even though he recalls boxing them up and sending them out.

OK, here's where it gets a little fuzzy.....I ran the tracking number that you posted....this is what UPS says about your package:

Dear Customer,

This notice serves as proof of delivery for the shipment listed below.

Tracking Information
Tracking Number: 1Z2904720394532836
Service: GROUND Weight: 5.00 Lbs
Shipped/Billed On: 12/01/2009
Delivered On: 12/07/2009 11:03 A.M.
Delivered To: COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, US
Location: REAR DOOR
SO, to clarify things, if youre telling the truth when you claim that Fritz never sent these parts, then are you also trying to claim that UPS is helping him by lying for him?

In other words, it is obvious from the tracking info that he not only did have the parts, but that he also shipped them to you, as he promised he would. The box was left at your back door. Once they leave his hands, he cannot control where they end up. And once UPS drops it off, it is not their issue anymore either. According to the tracking info, this package went to where you live, so I have no doubt that they were in fact delivered. At this point there are only three possibilities that I see....

1--someone stole the box so you never saw it.
2--the box went to the wrong address
3--you got the parts and didnt tell the truth about it.

Now, before you get all spastic on me, I said that those are only the possibilities that I see, I did not claim that you actually did that. One easy way to check on #2 on that list would be for Fritz to check with UPS to see if he can get more detailed info on the delivery location. But either way, your parts were shipped, and I for one do not appreciate you coming in here and making statements like this:

You didn't send the greddy elbow and said you looked high and low and couldnt find it laying around.

--especially since it is obvious that you yourself saw the UPS tracking information. Round these parts, we do not allow baseless accusations to be thrown about carelessly. If you had proof that he did not send the parts, by all means, post away. But he told you he sent them, UPS confirms that they delivered them, you saw that with your own eyes enough to comment on the weight given, and then you still claim he didnt send it???

Perhaps in the future you will be more careful about how you choose to accuse someone of something. I have never once done business with Fritz, but if he's lying now it would be the first time I had seen him lie in here in the nearly 10 years I have been a part of this forum.

Hello Rx7Roller

I sent him $275 for 3 items. 2 of the items arrived in the box and 1 did not.

The question still remains, was there a reason you waited 25 days to open it and say something since even if opened the box to glance at its content, the elbow would be pretty apparent if it was there or not.

According to you or according to Mike? Does Mike even now what a greddy elbow is?

Anyway I don't have the elbow and I really hope UPS weighed that box

If possible please have Mike weigh the pipe and BOV which I'm sure doesn't weigh 5lbs and I'll weigh one of my greddy elbows and we'll have the answer.

However I'm not upset about 75 bucks but obviously neither of us like being screwed and apparently we both feel that way however on my end I refunded you on your/Mike's word that was 25 days late and YOU STILL LEAVE ME NEGATIVE FEEDBACK Sorry buddy but that's some dirty pool. Remember I'm out 75.00 and a greddy elbow plus this frikken headache :p

Take care,
Fritz

I've had many thousands of dollars worth of transactions with Fritz and he has been nothing but top notch. Sounds like he bit the bullet and shelled out extra money to make this right. Sounds like another positive feedback for Fritz to me.

when someone refunds money based solely on he said/she said, that has to be positive. Fritz could have really been an *** and showed his proof he sent it and it was received and that 75 bucks would still be his.

Had fritz not tried to make it right then i could see how a negative feedback could be in order. but he made it right to the best of his ability. wowzers...

If someone fails to deliver the products they agreed to send then that is not a positive transaction. Especially when they can't figure out what they did with the item.

If someone doesn't refund you for an item they didn't send that would make them a thief.

As mentioned I'm 99% sure the part was sent so I'm only 1% unsure of what happened to it and I gave you the benefit of the doubt and you're still slamming me? You must seriously think I tried to rob you which is rediculous or else you're trying to use my reputation against me and get a free elbow along w/ 75 dollars and posting the negative feedback after I send a refund tells me pretty much all I need to know about your character.

Hopefully the shoe will be on the other foot at some point in your life and you may actually get it.

ah recalling memories of the good old big list days -
fd-s14, an example of a thief is Nathan Freedenberg, who took people's money to rent VIR to have a rotary track day and then flaked out while keeping most of the money...mine included. Your view of the transaction seems tainted since you didn't get the part you wanted but the seller made it right by refunding you the money. You still haven't answered anyone that's asked about why you waiting 25 days. With your logic, we should give you negative feedback since you aren't doing what we asked of you by not giving us an answer.

Inthe end, you just lost a source of parts from a great guy that took care of you...nice job..since I wouldnt sell anything to you if you did me this way with no remorse...I can't speak for Fritz, but I know I wouldn't. I've lost interest in discussing this with you and only chimed in to see who would leave Fritz negative feedback. I'm glad we have people like Fritz, Rich, Brent, Phil and I'm many others that I haven't dealt with, that take the time to help other rotary owners out as much as they do. Along over due thanks to those guys!

As proof the part wasn't sent I asked my friend who picked up the package to take a photo of the box and the bov in it to prove there was not enough space for the elbow to have been in the same box.

Today I was suppose to get these great photos so I could redeem myself in this thread. Instead Im informed that the elbow was found.

I now realize why everyone stepped up on this thread for Fritz and why Fritz made this thread. Fritz is an amazing guy to say the least.

Sorry for the false accusation, negative rating and all the drama.

I sent the money back. If there is a way I can have an admin remove the negative rating from Fritz's profile that would be great.

Great way to start off in this forum.

Sorry Fritz.

Regards,
Nick

Nick, glad it all worked out and that there's a happy ending. I'm sure there will be no hard feelings, I didn't realize you were stuck out at Camp Doha..... I've spent a few wonderful summer months there and know it's a tad desolate

Thanks for the apology and hopefully the good doctor will take care of the feedback

PS I'm pretty sure if I was worried about being shot every second my patience would be thin as well.

Also wanted to of course thank my fellow forum members for all their support now and in the past, you guys ROCK
