You know, I bought a stand alone from him...waited a couple weeks...Had a hard time getting in touch with him...got all his excuses and stories and felt sorry for him...finally got my stand alone after the claim with paypal..so i got it and was happy. A few people were having trouble with him and I told them, dont worry, he will get it to you and tried to let them know that he was ok that it just took some time for him to ship, but after reading several threads just like this, im pretty pissed at myself for trying to stand up for the guy. What a ******* dick. If you are going to sell your **** on here sell your **** and ship it.

Listen, go to the SE Forum, under Jacksonville NC and post your complaint there. I haven't seen him at the Friday meetings but he is known by some of the guys that have been around for awhile. I was talking to him to buy a TII tranny but I decided to hold off. I would have picked it up local anyway. This guy is from California not NC, so the redneck comment does not apply, all the others do.

Anyway, someone on the SE / Jacksonville forum might be able to help you better.

Good luck, I feel your pain, I'm ready to put a cinder block through the windshield of a crackhead who ripped me off!!

I just had someone go to Alex's house and "Commandeer" my wheels. I talked to Alex and his phone is back on for all that want to call him. he says that he's not sure if anyone got there stuff but he assumes they are all happy.. I should have my wheels soon. thanks to all that helped and i will post up when i actually get my wheels.

Well...The fc which the motor from Alex was scheduled to be dynoed by ray at PFS today. Ray strapped the car down, and did a pull, and noticed slight break up, probably the coil pack. While he was switching it out, he decided to do a compression check, and much to our surprise, the rear rotor is low, and the car is not tunable. Now the motor has to come out AGAIN and be rebuilt. Not very happy...

He seemed like a nice guy and from what he was talking about it seems like he's in a financial and transportational bind...I'm not saying thats an excuse for not shipping the items out on time or accepting the payment without confering with the buyer about the situation, but there are times in life that sometimes the decisions that we make arent always the best ones and can leave us pretty fucked up to the point where trying to get your life back in order takes precedence over some things that would be normally be important. Im not sure if thats the case with him cause I only talked with him for like 10 mins but I try to put myself in other peoples shoes when I deal with situations like this to better understand the other persons decisions before jumping on a persecution bandwagon or jumping to conclusions. Im just glad we got the rims and they will be shipped asap...Willub you better send me pics of the rims on your car when you get them too! lol

backroad-junkie, Thanks for helping Willub out in this situation.

As far as Alex is concerned. From all the input I have been fed from the previous situations it seems like responsiblity is not his strong suit. He took money from a lot of members and failed to provide them with service.

No matter what is going on you can't take others people money that have put their trust in you and then abandon them. It's not right and I cannot have a member that takes that approach.

With that said, I unfortuneatly have to ban him from the forum. :-(

wait...wait...he builds engines too?! Or he simply sold a used one that was not in top condition?

Sucks not to get what you paid for and wind up losing time and money in the process doesnt it? Karma is a son of a bitch, huh.

It's pretty badass that someone went and got the other guy's wheels and made sure they were shipped. Hats off to you.

No karma, i deserve none. Just the game of rotaries, it may have been completely fine and had a little problem while on the dyno, but it is now low on compression and wasnt supposed to be. I still got more than what i payed for, just as you did kevin. Glad you got your wheels willub.
