well he said that his phone was acting up and apparently it is acting up again. he actually sent me a pm this morning with two tracking numbers but that was for the wheels that was already delivered. He mentioned nothing about the two wheels that i still have not received.

what does his phone have to do with the internet unless youre talking about his home phone and hes on dial up but theres also a library and friends phones and internet to use...my point is, if he want to get a hold of you to explain the situation he can. I dont know him but it seems like he just doesnt WANT to be contacted.

Of course he means his home phone and of course he dosent want to be contacted. A crook never wants to be contacted by the victum or police now do they.

wow, deja vu.
this same thing happened to me before but not with this guy. I did get all 4 wheels eventually but the last 2 came cracked. apparently he was trying to fix them with my money and did a crappy job. Anyways, check your wheels when they come and make sure they aren't cracked.

well for plenty of people, i still don't have any solid means of contacting him. And for the record, I have only received 2 of the 4 wheels and only the two tracking numbers for those two wheels. Alex has been online recently. He has even been online after i sent a PM and he has not responded to it. the two wheels that i got are though, what I was expecting, they are in the condition he described them in.....Minus the tires that are beyond bald while the pictures he has in the thread show them with a good amount of tread left on them. I'm not going to complain though, I just want my other two wheels..

I dont understand you guys that live up in NC that know him personally. Why are you guys protecting this guy? If you know where he lives then visit him personally or call him at his home number. Isnt there a car club he belongs to up there?

I dont know him personally and I gave all the information I could find out to Willub...I can do more but its up to him to ask me since Im not really close to him(2 hrs). Ive given him information he can use to further along the process of finding out answers and gave him names of people to contact him who might be closer and know more than I do. The people that I know that he meets with know just as much about the situation as Willub does. i just wanna see the man gets what he paid for and in a timely manner. Willub, if you need me to do something Ill try my best to figure stuff out. Sucks to hear about the tires man.

A note on paypal, if the person transfers the money to their bank account and you file a claim. if paypal awards the claim, they take the money out of the other persons paypal account. example, if they have 0.00 dollars in their account and you place a claim stating that the 200.00 dollars you send him/her resulted in nothing, when they award you the 200.00 back, his/her account would be -200.00 and they would have to pay that back before using paypal again. like any debt, if they let it slide too long they start getting notices and calls and whatnot to get payment on their negative account. just wanted to clear that up as there seemed to be some confusion.

PSHH! PSHH! HEAR ME NOW?

Hmmmmmmmmm. Interesting. I have seen this person's name being slammed alot. I would think that people wouldn't do business with him if he is such a crook. I too have been ripped off once since I have been on this forum. Not this person, but another that seems to imploy the same tactics. I have had a claim awarded in my favor from PayPal for almost a year. I have yet to see one dime of the money I lost. I hate to hear people getting ripped like this, but understand there are some people that think it's the easiest thing in the world.

last time I had a issue he was using his mom's paypal.
I emailed her and she took care of everything in a day or two.
I dont know what the guy's problem is, he does the kind of thing all the time, you wait and wait and then its too late for paypal to help you.
my deal with him for a hood which came very poorly packaged and obviously damaged even after at least 6 pms stating he knew how to packge the hood and it would arrive safely. Wrapping a hood in fabric and putting it loosely in a box is not proper packaging.
I can understand things getting damaged in shipping, but you got to realize I waited over 2 months for it with a period of weeks of no communication.
then when he does appear he does things like send you a switch for no charge, which is all fine and dandy but you know what? I just want what I paid for and to be treated with respect.
Now I put right in my paypal message "item to be shipped in a reasonable time frame"
and not being able to get to the internet for a couple of minutes is BULLSHIT.
Unless he is in jail or rehab you telling me he cannot log on ANYWHERE for a few minutes and respond to people he has taken thier money from?
****- even people in jail have internet!

Hmm sad to say I think I have to just file a claim even though dhl had them. I have had no way of getting a hold of Alex and everyone says I need to contact the shipper. So hopefully this gets his attention or he calls me cause I can't file anything myself.

Ya its pretty stupid. I say if your not gonna communicate good then don't sell **** on here or if you are constantly busy don't try and sell things if you can't get them out on time. Thats just good business.

Lives on the Forum

He had informed me at the time that he had sold his car and that he had no way to get to a computer. Stated that he was 20 plus miles away from his dad and that he lived in a remote area.
I don't know how much of this was truth and how much was bullshit.
What I do know and so that everyone else knows. His selling privileges are over on this forum. That's the minimum punishment that he is going to receive.

Just to let everyone know I did get a hold of someone not Alex by that phone number and she told me that he wasn't home and that she would let him know. I haven't had any communication since. I will keep my paypal claim and hopefully get my money back. Unless he some how comes through. And he has my number so no reason why I can't be called.
And just wanted to say thanks doc for keeping us informed and keeping track off it all
