My ex took her Cherokee to a Jiffy Lube once... they said "ok alllll set..... parked right out front for ya!"

We walked outside, and sure enough, it's sitting there running with a pool of oil underneath it. The oil pan bolt was only hand tight and was basically falling out (not quite out yet).

They said, "oh we'll fix that!" and reached under there and tightened it up like it was no big deal that probably 3/4 of the oil was now on the ground.

My first and LAST trip to Jiffy Lube was 6 years ago in Jacksonville, NC. After they finished my car I started driving back to base, as soon as I got on base my oil light popped on, low and behold my oil pan drain plug either fell out or was never put back in.

Never again.

Stay away from all Ez, Jiffy, Quickie Lube places. Trust me ! I've worked at them and it's true what goes on.

Yeah no surprises here...

the I actually have never had any problems....why? I ALWAYS stand by my car and hover like a vulture. If you are a "car guy" and you past their test when they try to upsell you...they will do it. Out of every half assed educated person there are 10 more they can rip off.

I used to bring my crappy integra there...and as soon as my car rolled up to the bay I was standing right there...they had NO CHOICE but to change my oil, I would chit chat and BS with them...but sure enough they removed my oil filter, drained and refilled. $19.99 and they cleaned my windows and put air in my tires.

never go there...and drop your car off and come back later or sit inside and watch tv. lame..
