I had a post up about him months ago...a search may reveal it, or it may have been lost by DKJ's fuckup when he deleted lots of old GGBG threads, effectively robbing the forum of the shitty seller list except the most recent ones.

I bought a "complete" FCON setup from him about a year ago. He shows me a picture of what was included which was a small, blurry pic of a black box and a bunch of wires.

When I got it, I found that a part was missing; a critical part that made the rest of the stuff useless. He told me "oh well, just buy another one, you still got the FCON way cheaper than what it cost new".

That argument makes about as much sense as selling a car that "runs fine" with no transmission and then telling the buyer that they shouldn't complain because they still got the car cheaper than what it cost new so they should be able to afford to buy a new transmission to complete it.

I wound up having to buy another whole complete FCON setup with the appropriate sensor, and basically had to give the stuff I got from him away because it was useless because it was incomplete.

I realize your situation is different in that you did not actually get anything yet, but in my opinion if someone pulls a shady move then they are capable of yet more shady activities as well and should be avoided.

paypal will not help you here. They may rule in your favor but their buyer protection program only applies to transactions on ebay. You ordered these parts from him on here, right? Because this is not an auction site like ebay, you wont get money back like this.

Honestly, your best bet is to take everything you have, especially proof of payment, and speak to the police department where he lives. I tell people this all the time--the longer you wait, the less chance you have of getting your money back. What he did was illegal--he promised you items that he failed to deliver. Its the same as stealing the money right out of your wallet. And it is a crime. Call the police, tell them whats up, fax them copies of everything and let them go to work on him. He may be more willing to refund your money if he has a little convincing from officers....

e-checks take 4-5 business days to clear, no more.

IF it cleared on the 15th, that was 5 business days ago, not counting the yesterday or today, and 5 bus. days is almost enough time for the items to have been delivered. Sometimes east coast ---> west coast takes 6-7 bus. days so he should be getting his stuff in the next delivery day or 2 if you did your job.

Will you get this through your thick skull? IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT PRICE YOU SELL THINGS FOR, CHEAPER THAN NEW PRICE OR NOT. WHEN YOU MAKE A DEAL, YOU ARE OBLIGATING YOURSELF TO DELIVER THE PRODUCTS IN THE CONDITION STATED WITHIN A TIMELY MANNER.

IF you're not making enough money to suit yourself then CHANGE YOUR F***ING PRICES.

Actually I had a echeck that took 9 days to clear for some reason. Maybe that person did not have the cash at the time. I personally will not accept an echeck again. But I do agree 5 business days is enough time for deliviery . Also I bought from this guy with no problem.
Thanks Robert

wow im suprised at this how immature he is to say this....and to my suprise i reminded him the day the e-check cleared i sent him the money on the 11-o5-07 and the money cleared the 11-9-07 he said he would send it the following day so i sent him a pm and i didnt get a reply till the 11-13-07 4days later! his first excuse is that when he gets home the shipping center is closed again i asked him if he sent it and he doesnt reply until the 11-19-07 saying this time that he forgot to send it out since he works 13hr shifts. this is when i do get upset since i need the car running already and im tired of waiting for him to send them....so i decide to open a dispute and send him the following message above and he replies with such disrespect!! BTW..i know this because i kept all the PM'S and till today I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY!!!!!

exactly but his dates are wrong as i mentioned on my reply....and most of this stuff is small and should definetly take less time. even if i am still busy at work i still find time to send things in a timely manner even if it means to go to work a little early or at breaks(which is what he said..but i dont think he did)

does that excuse remind you of something??

I have posted this many times in these threads about the bullshit excuse of I am too busy, I work so many hours that by the time I get off of work everything is closed.

The USPS at most locations has a APC. Automated postal center which is available almost 24/7. Deducting sometime for machine servicing and maybe the chute where the packages go in getting blocked by oversize packages.

Which means you can go in the middle of the night, or in the early am while there is virtually no one there.

DHL,UPS, and FED-Ex will come to your home or business and pick up the package for you. You fill out the way bill and if have a credit card or debit card then fill out the information and call the day before for a pick up. If it is to be picked up at home you indicate where the package will be for pick up. Anyone can set up an account with these companies also. You can even pay and print out your postage from your printer.

As you can see there is no reason for a package not to be sent out in a timely manner.

bebiracer,
The only thing that I am seeing about how you are dealing with this situation is that you are acting in a Childish, immature and disrespectful manner.
I see nothing by Alex that would condone your offensive response.
He has provided the facts surrounding this transaction and has not acted unreasonably.
You informed him that you would ship it the next day after the payment cleared. You failed to do that. Then 4 days later it still has not gone out and Alex has to contact you again 5 days later?

When you ship tomorrow please provide Alex with the tracking number.
Thank you,

BTW doc, the USPS does not have any such APC setup around this area. In fact, they recently took all the standard stamp vending machines OUT of the office lobby area (which is left open for PO Box holders 24 hrs). When I asked why they did this, I was told that they wanted more people to buy books of stamps over the counter or perhaps upgrade to priority instead of a stamp. The window hours are usually something like 10am-4:30pm, which further hinders most people's efforts to ship with them.

However, I have heard that in other parts of the country, the USPS is the way to go...sometimes they even have locations open saturday afternoon and sunday!

The USPS blows goats, around here anyway. In fact, if it were not for UPS shipping via paypal's online click-n-ship interface, I would never sell or ship any small parts.

UPS picks up from my place of business, you pay like $2-$3 extra but its worth it for the convience. We dont do any excessive shipping business at my shop so I would pay $10 extra not to have to drive to the store and deal with the lines.

I paid $285, back on Nov 04, for two rotors and the front iron for my S4T2. Bebiracer emailed me last week saying that he would refund my money, but, he hasn't.

I notified PayPal yesterday and today I plan on notifying the credit card company.

In one place he has his address listed as Elizabeth, NJ. Someplace else I saw his address listed as East Wick, NJ. A soon as I'm sure where he lives, I plan on notifying the police.

November 04? As in 36 months ago November 04? Dont you think you're a little late? I know paypal will, and I think your CC company, will tell you to take a hike. The police may be a different story.

I think someone needs to go take their refund out of "senor guido's" ***, personally.

Yeah, maybe so. I don't often see people from north america that format dates in that way, so I assumed he must have meant 2004.

You should just call your cc company. Paypal sucks when it comes to getting your money back. I was just on the phone with paypal today arguing, about a dispute i open 20 days ago, they told me it would still take another 30 days, and they still wont know if i will get my money back or not. It's been 1 1/2 months already, **** paypal sucks!
