I still would like to see a picture of either the damage done to the assemblies from packaging. I mean if sombody is going to stir up all this drama at least present some evidence. I also dont see any blue in the pictures of the assemlies for sale so i dont know what that was all about.

 

Gonzz claimed that Timmy sent him the pictures... Why he won't post them I dunno...

 

yeah, gonzz also told someone else that tim never sent him pics......the twists and turns continue. someone's not telling the truth here....all we want to see is the pics already

JESUS, JOESEPH, AND MARY! Post the pics for Christ's sake. Why bring this issue to the board if you are going to sling mud at each other, then not produce evidence aside from he said/she said? I may be a n00b to these boards, but man! You can't make accusations and then not follow-up!

archie--tim held up his end. he provided pics to gonzz. we all want to see them, but gonzz is the guy that really needed them. tim hasnt even been back on the forum since the 14th....I find it really strange that gonzz claimed tim was scamming him, and said the pics proved it, but now gonzz refuses to post them up...

 

Maybe... I'm not the thread Gestapo. If Gonzz has pics, he could post them too. I have no dog in the fight, aside from integrity. Gonzz shouldn't have his rep screwed for no good reason. On the other hand, Tim should get some resolution if he was screwed with a bad part. I've heard Gonzz is a solid guy/seller outside from these forums. He was recommended to me by a buddy out in Vegas, if I needed some stuff. That doesn't mean I'm slurping his sac, but nobody likes their rep fucked with in a community that can shun you quickly. Word travels fast. If pics aren't posted by next week, a mod should just lock this thread and throw away the key...

I tracked down an email address for tim and sent him one, since a PM wont work--he hasnt been here to get the PMs that people have already sent him about this. I have never personally done business with either one, but gonzz's actions in this thread are certainly enough to look suspicious. The story keeps changing.

Well, hopefully tim will get back to me and this can get resolved....

 

He mentioned them in this thread, and claimed that tim tried to scam him. gonzz says that he sold this guy a set of assemblies that were painted blue, but even in the FS thread where gonzz sold these parts, the pics gonzz posted clearly are of black parts, not painted blue ones. Still, gonzz insists that they were blue, and when I asked him to post them, he said he doesnt have to post ****. That was all in this thread. So far, gonzz has been caught in a lie at least three times, in this one transaction. After he said Tim sent him pics of the "wrong parts", he kept saying he couldnt wait for tim to post the pics up and then everyone would see, comments like that. He then accused tim of stalling so he could find a close enough color of blue paint, then take new pics. gonzz has not posted since, and it is clear that he is not being 100% honest by any stretch.

Thats the thread in a nutshell, without all the "your daddy" crap and other ridiculous insults form gonzz. Somehow, when I challenged him in this thread to post the pics, he decided that it was relevant to demand pics of my car instead--he thinks that claiming I ride a huffy is more relevant than taking care of his customer or his reputation....

 

I read the thread completely once...but my head was hurting from all the name calling. Now about this Huffy... have you ever taken it off any sweet jumps?? Just kidding bro! If neither the buyer or seller have posted pics, there's really no reason for complete strangers to post/argue on their behalf.

 

normally I would agree, but when the seller is so obviously not telling the truth, something should be done about it. The guy cant even tell the truth about the color of the parts he sold....and I cant see watching a buyer get lied to. Tim hasnt been here to handle his reputation, and while people have no problem thinking about the seller's reputation, not too many people are considering the buyer in this case. The guy has not said one thing in this thread that sounds suspicious or appears dishonest on its face, and I dont believe that a seller whos obviously being dishonest should get to tee off on the buyer's rep like that.

 

Fair enough. Hopefully this can be resolved without any gang violence or threat of mother's being in compromising positions.

ok im sorry for being away for so long. i was on holiday, and i never had the chance to get back to the forums. i have sent the exact pictures i sent to gonzz, to show the packaging+shipping damage to rx7roller02, i don't know how to post pictures myself, so plz stay tuned for the damage pictures.

 

and wow i didn't expect the forums to be so active. seriously =O

i hope this gets resolved asap. and im willing to post and give ALL AND ANY EVIDENCE.

doesn't it ever get fishy when he's unwilling to post the pictures of damage which i sent him?

i also have another rx7 owner whom i've showed the assemblys to on the day of opening the package. he's the person i borrowed the digital camera to take pictures of the assemblys, coz as i had said so before, my digital camera wasn't working.
however, he's currently away in hongkong for holidays, and i can't seem to get him on his cell. he should be back soon, or contactable asap, to shed more light and be a key witness to this whole situation.

ok, Tim sent me the pics. There are six of them, but I am only going to post two because the others are either blurry or duplicates. Compare the black body of the assembly to the pics in the for sale thread, and you will see the exact same blue overspray on the part as was on there when gonzz advertised it for sale.

Pics--in the pictures, you can clearly see the broken part--the gray plastic is what holds the headlight to the screws that you use to adjust the aim. With that being broken, it is not useable as it sits, so this is a very relevant concern on Tim's part. And since the overspray is the same as it is in the pics on gonzz's FS thread, one can only conclude that this is legitimate. Tim, I wish you the best in getting this resolved...you clearly have been telling the truth in my book.
