BC Bad Guy: ILoveJDM (Adrian Ahmadi)

About three months ago I contacted Adrian about an Apexi Power fc that he had for sale in the classified section. We exchanged a few private messages, and then i decided to purchase the power fc from him. It was shipped very quickly and right on time. Once i received the item the trouble started to appear. I took my car to a local rotary mechanic who is very familiar with apexi power fc and microtech management systems. He had my car on the dyno for three hours and with no luck he could not upload the maps that he made for my car. He told me that the item is defective. I then made a claim on Paypal to get a full refund. Paypal believed my side of the story, and they told me to ship the item back and once the item is returned i will get a full refund. I sent the item back. Unfortunately Adrian somehow received the item and did not sign for it. When dealing with Paypal the only two ways that they can make sure that someone received the item is either by a signature, or a simple email.
The item was successfully delivered on June 6, 2011. I know this because i requested a tracking number for the item. Paypal has emailed Adrian numerous times, as well as a phone call to his home phone. But he refuses to reply to any emails or even answer his phone. Now i have to file a claim through my credit card company which is going to take even longer to get my money back that i rightfully deserve. I would NEVER do business with Adrian ever again. This is very shady and untrustworthy. I held up my part and sent the item back. And now he has the Power fc back plus my $710.70 that he refuses to refund me.

I hope people read this and stay away from this guy, he may seem nice and easy to work with. But if a refund is needed he suddenly disappears and won't answer any emails or private messages that i send to me

Adrian Ahmadi (ILoveJDM) refund me my money!

Yes i know. I was told by marco at forcefed that it didn't work. so i took his word for it.
That still doesn't mean he has the right not to refund my money. He got paid twice for the same item.

As you wouldve known by now, it was resolved this morning.

I chose not to reply to paypal for the sole reason of you being an *******.

Not only did you wait to tell me the unit was "not working" till 19, NINETEEN days after you bought it from me, Without consulting me you decided to open a paypal claim, escalate it to a dispute immediately, which in turn FROZE my paypal account.

how was it frozen? because they TOOK your $700 from my account. Do you know what that means? I havent had your money since the day you filed a claim. Paypal had taken it from my account, and left me with a negative balance to take care of before I could purchase anything else.

All over A UNIT THAT WAS IN PERFECT WORKING CONDITION.

Paypal has emailed me, not phone my house - i dont know what this bullshit accusation is about, but they have emailed me saying, If you have recieved the package please verify OR WE WILL CHECK AND VERIFY ON YOUR BEHALF.
After your shenanigans, I chose not to deal with you, and let paypal take charge.

Is it my fault you chose to send it with a service that didnt offer signature on receipt? No, thats stupidity again on your behalf. This was a case of "i just dont want it anymore, so I will say its broken and send it back"

This was resolved this morning for you with my help, only because this is limiting my ability to open for sale thread on this forum thanks to AWESOME buyers like you.

This morning,

Hello Adrian Ahmadi,

PayPal has concluded the investigation of the following claim:

Buyer's name: Jairus Barnett
Buyer's email: soccer_dude30@hotmail.com
Transaction ID: 1MR548554N229714D

Transaction date: Apr 27, 2011
Transaction amount: $710.70 CAD
Your transaction ID: 9GG67031HA067293T
Case number: PP-001-320-822-435

Refund amount: $710.70 CAD

Delivery of the returned item has been confirmed and a refund will be
issued from your account. Insufficient funds in your account may result in
your account being limited.

If the package was not returned in a state satisfactory to you, you may log
in to PayPal to appeal the claim. Please understand that appealing the
decision for this claim will not guarantee a reversal of the decision.

I don't think it was. It seems like there was plenty of blame to share. I don't think Adrian should have decided to stop contacting you but it looks like you made alot of mistakes that Adrian in the end had to pay for. You were still wrong in that the PFC wasn't working. IMO, it's still your fault even if you took the word of some shop.

You would trust some guy on a forum than your rotary mechanic? I've been taking my car to the same guy for 2 years. I have more faith in him then some guy who sells stuff on a website.

No Kevin. My point is that your mechanic was wrong and if anything either he should pay for the mistake or you should since you're the one that took his word. I don't blame you for taking your mechanics word but in the end, he was wrong and your the one that should be punished for it.

I trust my shop but I can tell you that if they made a mistake they would be the ones paying for it not someone stranger I bought from. If my shop didn't shoulder the resposibility, I would. That's justice.

hah just stumbled across this thread and yes I bought this unit after I had fried a drive on mine. Plugged her up and she started up right away. the only reason you couldnt create or edit maps was becasuse your "tuner" didnt have the datalogit software. Very knowledgeable guy indeed

Of course he has the datalogit software. I am still waiting for some proof that it is infact the power fc that i sent back, and a vid of your car running.... Otherwise the powerfc is still broken.
