I also checked Whois and um... the registrant is DomainsByProxy.com which is based in Scotsdale Arizona (lovely little company used to hide the identity of a site owner) .....

Oh and if you go to the FAQ under intro rules there is a disclaimer.....

well... first off. the whole question of the site is based on the fact a moderator is telling me i can't harass him. well. to repeatedly contact someone is harassment.
who really thinks i should leave him alone after he took my money and keeps selling **** on here?!?!??
and you are right!! law enforcement will never give a **** about 60 bux. but a site allowing people to continually operate with impunity after breaking a law they might question.
next i never even hinted of a site shutdown. because they just would'nt do this. take it off line for about a week or so probably. and yes they have bigger criminals to fry which is why they might take a bit to get the sites equipment searched and returned.

i have been in touch with aaron cakes and roller i have sent a p/m. awaiting a reply. i will attempt to contact the doc aswell. before this whole thing goes out of hand.

This site has "buyer beware" all over the place, and simple common sense would agree. This is the internet--if anyone needs to explain "buyer beware" over the internet to you, then please dont buy parts over the internet anymore.

2--"ALLOWING CRIMINAL ACTIVITY": Where the hell do you get off making this kind of statement? Moderators here, like Doc and me, spend countless time and effort trying to help members out when we dont have to do so in order to satisfy the law! I have personally spent my time and own money to help people in this section, and I am not alone. So maybe you had better check yourself on this one. I am married, with three children, and a full-time job....and I still take the time to come here and help out. A simple "thank you" would be more appropriate than this nonsense--especially since youre thanking me in PM for helping you with the other guy that you called out as a scammer here recently!

Aside from that, what criminal activity can we prove without hearing both sides of the story? This is a FORUM, not a court of law, and you would be smart to realize that we are legally not allowed to establish guilt or innocence here! At this point all you have is an accusation, and these things take time. Of course, you are welcome to pursue criminal charges against the seller if thats what you wish, but I dont see you doing that. Instead, I see you doing nothing to handle it yourself, and then youre doing a lot of complaining about the mods and the forum. You guys dont realize at all the fact that any one of you could put in the same effort that we do and get results--but youre far too busy complaining about the forum because no one here has jumped up in a cape and mask and magically gotten the seller to respond to you yet!

I would very highly suggest that before you consider accusing anyone on this forum of protecting a criminal, that you do some more research. Since youre clearly capable of looking up a law online, perhaps you need to go check into slander and libel laws, and see about the law YOU just broke with this post.


3--MODERATORS DONT STOP SCAMMERS FROM OPERATING: Are you for real? Are you new here or something? Look--I try to be decent to everyone here, but in all honesty youre really pushing it now. I would STRONGLY recommend that you adjust your attitude on this matter, before it causes you problems. And whats this crap about "mods wont let victims pursue their case"? You arent trying to pursue a case! Youre slinging mud, and thats ALL!

All i have to say is:

I received payment for a y-pipe from YOU (The Oracle) and correspondingly shipped that part to the supplied address of The Oracle

Was later told that the part was not recieved

A dispute with paypal was opened

I was told by the oracle that he no longer needed the part due to the fact that his uncle owned an FD and that he got that part from him.

Paypal dispute was awarded to me

The Oracle after a lapsed period of time decides to bring "trash talk" to the forums.

After which he brings about what he calls evidence by showing that he has purchased yet another y-pipe from another member on the forum. (we're at 3 y-pipes at this point)

I don't know if you guys know rotary's or not but i don't think that anyone needs more than 1 for one car.


It is my solemn belief that The Oracle himself is trying to exploit people or at least one person on this forum. I think that it is wrong to pursue something as such when people on this forum are just trying to buy/sell extra parts and help one another out with their cars. I'm a person of morals and edict and would never default on a agreement that i have made, on this forum or not.

 

also ROLLER my statements in previous posts were'nt intended on bashing on you or other mods. they were a fact of the current state of the situation.

but i do appologize if it seems aimed that way.

but what does y pipes that i personally own have anything to do with anything? it does'nt prove anything if you contact 209fd he can tell you himself how i got his y pipe. THAT IS RAW EVIDENCE. my uncle threw away his old motor which had the y pipe i mention him supose to give me. that has nothing to do with this situation and is only my personal buisiness nothing more. I ONLY HAVE 1 Y PIPE. IT IS THE 1 I BOUGHT FROM 209FD.

my concern is that you have no evidence to prove your actions taken on sending me the y pipe i paid you for.

You need to provide proof that you shipped the item in question. That is your responsibility in this matter.

As stated in the rules-

- Sellers MUST USE a traceable method of shipment and remember to write the buyer's address on it.

Failure to provide proof that you did indeed ship the item in question warrants a "FULL" refund to the buyer!

If you paid at the post office with a credit card then you can track it that way.

I can certainly appreciate the "contacts" you have, but to be quite honest, I really dont care because none of them are relevant to what happens here on this forum. They dont run it. They arent in charge of it. And they cannot change the laws with regard to how it can or cannot be moderated. like i tried to state previously on page one and reclarify with my above post. this was not refering to you. and had been discused between me and aaron cakes privately and is not an issue. it has been clarified. originally i had misunderstood what he meant in his first p/m. and went off of that in error.

the most buisiness i've done on this forum have been sales. and nobody that bought anything off of me had any issues or were disatisfied. i think all my prices were below the going rate so it does'nt appear that i'm here for big profits and that alone should show that i would'nt be here if a y pipe had been received from you.

you say that you lost the tracking info. well... i make sure i keep all tracking #'s untill the buyer confirms with me they have received it and all is well.

if you actually still have the y pipe, i would accept it and close this thread.
if you refund me my 60 bux i sent you, this is fine also.
if you have actual evidence to show it's loss is due to shipping, this is just life and it's what we get for dealing on a forum.
