Anyone know WB Autotech
I was referred to autotechwb@gmail as a potential seller of a headlight switch. W.B responded and said he had it and some other parts I was looking for. He would email me almost hourly asking if I sent the money via Zelle. Now he won’t respond to my emails. I feel like I have been scammed. Sadly, it was a member on this forum who referred me to him. It has me and my wife pretty upset and has put a bad taste on a project that she and I were working on together. If anyone has any info on him or any ideas of how I can get my money back, I’d be really grateful.
@Greatgreek is the person who referred me to them.
I have never spoke with or interacted with Greatgeek on the forum, but they joined on Dec 7, 2024 and only have 19 posts. Take that for what it is worth.
I do see that "WB Auto Tech" has a Facebook page (1) Facebook and has what I think is an auto mobile tech service.

I got scammed by him also but on a different forum, below was the information I was able to gather from our interaction. His email also said he was in Nampa ID
Kevin Galeas was the name on his Zelle account his email Kevyn9007@gmail.com was also associated to his Zelle. autotechWB@gmail.com was the email he originally sent me. the phone number he texted me from was 208-285-2598. Maybe one of you guys can bait him into giving you an address

Thank you for the updated info. The guy is a truly horrible person. I really hope he gets what he deserves. It stinks that he’s put such a sour note on this project my wife and I have enjoyed working on together.
