Stay away from eBay Store Garage_Spec
This warning is less for those in the US as it is for the Canadian RX owners. I recently ordered a brand new Koyo Rad from these guys for $212 USD, and chose them as the shipping was listed as "USPS Priority International Shipping". At $62 for shipping it was pricey but similar to UPS. The difference is that USPS charges zero customs and brokerage fees while UPS levies their own fees. Sure enough, even though the auction stipulated USPS they shipped it UPS and I was left paying another $59.61 because of it.
They admitted that it was their mistake, but would not refund me the $59.61, and never returned any of my emails after the first one admitting it was their mistake.
Sure, $59 is not a lot of money, but they fucked up and did nothing about it.

I'll look into that - thanks!
The auction clearly says "$62 USPS Priority International Shipping" and he sent it UPS. I also have his email still saying "Sorry, we screwed up, it should have been sent USPS". If Paypal wont bite, I wonder if eBay will? I'll look into it.

Paypal and Ebay are the same company (file a claim on ebay and it'll just send you to paypal). Just file a claim on paypal and be patient. If your claim is valid, (scan and send all reciepts, and that email they sent you as proof) then you'll eventually get the money back. Sometimes you get it back fairly quickly and other times it takes a while. Read the fine print in the auction and see what sort of stipulations you agreed to by clicking buy-it-now or bidding on it.

heres some more kind words for UPS,i sold an aluminum hood molding on feebay and the winning bidder was in australia, this molding weighs about 6 ounces, howeveri needed to ship it in a crusproof container so i boxed it up really well and reinforced it,it came out about 5lbs and 46 in. long,i first took it to usps and found out it was 4 inches too long for international shipping,so i then took that box to UPS and they gave me shipping quote......any guesses? over $400!!! i then took it back too usps and talked to the very helpfull lady behind the counter and she informed me that if i could trim another 4in. off the box it would go no problem, took it home, did that in about 5min.,brought it back and sent it out for $66,yes $66 vs. $400 wow ! she told me that when packages are too large to go with other carriers that UPS seriously overcharges when people have no more options,FU UPS!! i always go straight to the post office now and never deal with crooks after they tried to burn me!!!!!!!
