Pineapple Racing customer service

First time I have ordered from them. I know that they make great parts but the communication process leaves a lot to desire. I ordered an engine stand adapter on 10-21 and they just shipped the part yesterday. I'm rebuilding my engine and really needed the adapter. I placed a total of seven orders that day and everything was in by last week but the adapter, four of these orders from different rotary venders including as far as Cali. Never answered any phone calls or e-mails, I assume your busy but damn but a week to process.

every time i call the guy talked on the phone with me and educated me on rotaries, what to do and not to do, if i had any questions he would answer them, always responded to my emails and asked me questions as well when i ordered my rebuild kit so that i wasnt paying more then what i needed.

some ppl get a dif experience i guess

I've always had good service from Rob. I know some things they have made, he has made in bulk. You may have been waiting for the bulk order to come in. I have ran into that before. But in the end he will come through. He's waiting for the part to be made is most likely why your waiting. I have his FC deep oil pan. I love it. But I had to wait for it also. But for some good parts for an older car that most venders aren't going to deal with anymore. It's worth a little wait. Hang in there.

Thanks guys for the replies. I understand that they get busy, my biggest complaint was not being able to get anyone on the phone for a couple of days and no responds to my numerous e-mails. I got the adapter in the mail today and it is a quality part, maybe I was a little bit too impatient.

You received the product in under 2 weeks. That's not that bad. If you needed it ASAP, I would have called and placed an order over the phone. I've always had good customer service over the telephone. They even shipped 2 replacement orings for the omp to me for free because I ripped one trying to stretch it over the shaft. (I have the technique down now) PR must have been really busy I guess. Did they eventually get back to your email? Did you leave a voicemail? Just curious.

I wasn't expecting them to take over a week just to process my order. When I saw that it was taking so long I tried to call to get the shipping upgraded to try to get the product faster but I never was able to leave a voicemail and they never responded to my e-mail's either. Oh well, time to move on. Thanks for your input.
