Himni racing

Bottom line: Placed an order 5/22/11, still havent recieved it.

on 5/22/11 i placed an order for delrin motor and trans mounts, samco radiator hoses, and a himni lower arm bar.

3 days later i get an email saying "your order has shipped, we sent you 2 packages, the arm bar is on backorder"

3 days later i get the radiator hoses, no mounts....so i wait 5 working days and call them to get a tracking order for the mounts they claim to have shipped. They had no tracking number.

10 working days later i get motor mounts, no trans mounts. So i call again and tell them i ordered the motor/trans package, and all they sent me was motor mounts. "ok, we will send you trans mounts"

7 working days later, still no trans mounts, i call them, they call me back the next day, we didnt ship them because the arm bar will be done in 4-5 days, and we were going to ship them together" i say thats fine.

10 working days later i call, they call me back the next day "the arm bar is on backorder again" so i say, ship me the trans mounts, and let me know when i can expect the arm bar "ok, i will ship the mounts today, and the arm bar should be ready in a week" i say thats fine.

8 working days later i get the trans mounts.

It is now 2 months later, and they dont return calls, i have no idea what the hold up is on the arm bar.

This business is as poorly organized as MMR, they cant get their **** together, and i am not really excited about using the parts they make on my car.

2 months to make an aluminum bar with a heim joint at each end? Really?

Yeah they seem to be a bit hit and miss. Read a good review on ausrotary about them and a few crap ones. I myself am trying to buy a Borg Warner efr 9180 whenever they are finally ready and these guys took a long time to reply to emails

Still no word from them.

Seems they lead you on for 45+ days so you cant file a paypal dispute, then they just ignore you until you give up on trying to collect your parts, or money.

******* shady business.

They pulled the same with me. Took roughly 3 months to get a fuel pump and their full FC bolt kit.

Im adding to this list.
they are a rather pathetic example of customer service.
I have ordered a few parts from them back in September (yes, September).
after a month, I called them, and received half of my order. im still waiting on the other half. I have called MANY times, left voice messages, and sent emails, and have gotten no response. not a company I would ever consider doing business with EVER again. (and to top it off, their build quality is poor too)

Thank goodness for this forum. I almost bought the turbo kit from them but they never called back. Lucky I didn't place the order online. Too bad they have horrible customer service. They can make great business if they are better because their products seem nice

After reading multiple posts about undelivered items and poor customer service, this thread sealed it for me: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ighlight=himni

Having good communication and customer service goes a LONG way to ensuring the success of any business both via reputation and financially.

I'll stick with businesses such as IRP and Banzai who deliver a good product and customer experience.

Going through the same right now with them. Been well over 2 weeks now. Ordered the Alt Pulley kit for my FC. Got the email about it being shipped by UPS, but no tracking number. Week later, nothing, so I email. They said they would send a replacement by USPS. Got it decently quick, but they sent me the kit for the FD. Notified them that same day, they said they would mail out the right one ASAP. That was more than a week ago. Time for the BBB and some bad internet business site reviews I guess...

+ 1
If I order and I pay for it . I need it in the moment not to wait weeks, months.
As I seen member's complaints here before : "Back order, custom make,Fabricator, top notch or whatever bs the seller is making up".
As soon you heard one of these excuses try to get your part from somewhere else don't bother waiting because you expose to get screw.

I wish I would have read this before ordering from them. I know it's not a long time yet, but basically told them I needed the parts fast, they responded very quickly and said they would "upgrade" my shipping for free to 3 day shipping. 2 weeks later nothing. I was on vacation this week and wanted to get a lot done with my car, but in the end I got very little due to them not delivering. I have called once-twice a day the last couple days and emailed a few times, with no response. am I crazy? to some yes, but i figured by contacting them first before buying it would help. but clearly did not, seems like they have little to no concern about customers after they pay.

I had the same horrible experience with them. My FD 20B should be road worthy by tomorrow. After waiting 45 days for "back ordered" stainless brake lines, I cancelled. I ordered them from Atkins and got them in 3 days. Atkins actually has inventory unlike Himni. . No refund from Himni as promised and they have now ghosted me. I'll be posting videos of my dyno runs and track events on the RX7 forums. I'm going to put "Himni FUCKED ME!" decals on my front windshield and rear hatch if they don't refund my money by weeks end.

Himini is one guy...names Paul . His wife Libby sometimes answers the phone...mostly monitors the answering machine...Paul has emotional problems , he will never answer a phone period , he relays info thru his wife , she seems afraid of him...he has the cleanest neatest shop you will ever see..obsessive compulsive..I would never put up with him again..do so at your own peril....

I have driven by there and also stopped in and talked to them. just to chat actually, as there are directly across the road from the 12 hours of Sebring and I drive past them numerous times a year.

they're a legit rotary head shop. not a big one though. 4-5 bays and 1/2 dozen rotary's out front. the guy I was chatting with gave me the look when I said I ran a v8 lol.

It's Sebring, which is a small town in the middle of nowhere. They also have had a 1st gen old race car out front for years and years...probably ran it at sebring. by the looks of it...its ready to be sold
