I was previously a customer of Elite Rotary, where I took my 93 FD to Sam to have an initial inspection once the car was delivered to me. All in all, the car needed a new power steering pump, and a rear main oil seal. After work was done, the bill was approximately $2500. This would have been fine, except the car lost all power steering again the next week, as well as the car pissing oil at approximately the same time. After reaching out to Sal for a resolution numerous times, I never received a phone call back. I posted on social media after seeing the previous complaints here about his sketchy business practices, and here’s where the story gets funny. My father was the one who initially dropped the car off for me while I was at work, and thus had given Sam his number. 15 minutes after posting the proof and story of my experiences with Elite, I received a text from my father, saying Sam had called and threatened a lawsuit if I didn’t take the post down. He very easily shmoozed my father into believing his story of events. Recently Elite filed for bankruptcy, so I decided to add on to the controversy with another post. Sam quickly did the same thing and tried to strong arm my father into advising me to the delete the posts. After my father had read y’all’s posts here after the first instance, my father essentially told him to get lost. Sam/Sal couldn’t get his way with my father, so here are the DMs he sent me on Instagram after I had called him out for his crude business practices: Tries to flex his “many cars”, even though his bankruptcy claim would not have gone through if he still had assets
Im glad this scammer is finally out of the rotary world, and will be taking my business to Chris at Banzai after I had a long phone call with him. He seems 50x more knowledgeable than Sam ever could have been so I know I’m in good hands for my aggressive street port.
