water/methanol injection on 13bts5

Hi

I have a 13bts5 streetport, 4x800cc gas inject, stock mount IC, in short time a haltech ps1000, racing beat full eshaust system, BNR stage2.

I dream on hit the mark of 350RWHP, but I know that is near to impossible! I think on put a H2O/Meth (50%/50%) injection kit on the car to have aditional cooling efect, knock safe and some more power.

What you think on put two nozzles? One Pre turbo and another after IC?

What's the benefits? possible gains?

Regards

I would use a single nozzle on the TB elbow or IC exit. I dont feel you would have much benefit to run multiple nozzles. if you tune your ECU power gains can be great. If you dont tune you are looking at a nice safety buffer for your vehicle. If you decide to tune make sure you get a flow based failsafe.

350rwhp is pretty low. 300cc 100% water post turbo is more then enough. I've done it.

Hi

Someone told me that with a pre turbo nozzle it have the ability to expand the compressor map and make the compressor act like it's bigger than it really is. My turbo is a little small for the power that I want reach.
I think on the H2O/Meth (50/50%) to have a better cooling efect (Quimic IC) because my small stock IC, and for more safety to my engine. If I achieve more power, better.

What's the size of nozzles that you recomend to me?

regards

i spray tons of water pre turbo. its the best way to go.

then add a 2nd nozzle post turbo that's a tiny bit smaller.

if you inject pre-turbo it will make your turbo more efficient, for sure. I mis-read your question, I thought you asked "pre IC and post IC" rather than Pre-Turbo and Post IC.

For injecting pre-turbo I would relegate those with experience in that area. Coolingmist does not recommend to customers to do so, however many on this forum have found a happy medium doing this so I know it can be done.

I have a basically stock TII injecting 50/50 in the stock intercooler. works great. I would suggest an M8 or M5 nozzle from cooling mist. M8 is 500cc, and i think M5 is 380cc?

you could use two nozzles, but they would have to be small and inject at different levels of boost to work best. this was my plan at first, but i never followed through.

M1 nozzle injecting at 2psi pre turbo (pure wtaer only) and an M5 injecting post intercooler at 6 psi (75/25 mix)

the smaller the nozzle, the better the atomization. the better the atomization, the better the results. so if you need an M10 size nozzle to suit you needs, your better of running two M5 nozzles...

hope this helped.

Did I have any problem to inject pre turbo (50/50)?
And I espect run the 2 nozzles at same boost (6psi)!

For my engine specs, what's the better nozzels sizes to run? The M1 pre-turbo is good enought? And for the After-IC?

Is possible with the help of AI can reach my dream of 350RWHP with my setup specs?

its usually a good idea to run 100cc of water per 100 HP at the crank?

i probably make 300 fwhp, but i have a 800cc nozzle is hooked up to a linear controller. it starts to inject at 2 psi, and maxes out at 14 psi. that way at stock boost levels im runing close to 400cc of water.

after tons of runs, i love it. water injection pre turbo is soo much fun. im plkanning on getting a larger air filter, new wiring harness, and cranking up the boost.
